Whoever made this video clearly hasn't done much skiing in Europe, especially Austria. No mention of the world class ski resorts like Kitzbuhel, Ischgl, Solden, Saalbach, Mayrhofen etc etc. To say it's the top 10 ski resorts in the world for 2022 is a an absolute joke
This guy, American most likely, gives FOUR of the top spots to US resorts and even places all four of these higher in ranking than truly world class Whistler Blackcomb
They don't know what they're talking about. Alps are the best place to sky, there are lots of mountains all close together and different resorts available with one skipass but still not in this rank. Shame
Three resorts from Colorado but only one from France, zero from Austria, zero from Italy and zero from Scandinavia. Then you have Zermatt and St Moritz but not Verbier. Same for Park City but not Alta/Snowbird. Positive in your list was Niseko.
A very out of tune list of basically north american ski resorts... I have skied in the US and most european larger ski resorts and there is basically no comparison. The european destinations are oh so much better. And that is before you even weigh in the price factor. And what on earth is St Moritz doing on this list? Takes no more than a day to ski through the whole area. This would be my list: 1. Val d'Isere/Tignes (France) 2. Les trois vallées (Courchevel/Meribel/Val Thorens) (France) 3. Portes du soleil (Avoriaz/Morzine/Champery/etc) (France) 4. St Anton/Lech/Zürs (Austria) 5. Cortina (Sella ronda) (Italy) 6. Zermatt/Cervinia (Switzerland/Italy) 7. Verbier (Switzerland) 8. Vail (US) 9. Kitzbühel (Austria) 10. Les Arcs/La Plagne (France) Honorary mentions to: Courmayeur (Italy) Jungfrau region (Mürren/Grindelwald/Wengen) (Switzerland) Alpe d'Huez (France) Lake Tahoe region (Heavenly/Squaw/Alpine) And to top it off I would add to gems. Not hidden but two of my favorite ski areas. Mégève (France) and Engelberg (Switzerland)
If you have a chance then please visit Whistler, BC. It's a scenic 2hr drive from Vancouver. Great to visit year round however it's gone on the pricier side over the years. The village is a fantastic place to relax and wind down.
I was to Zermatt after a lot of others resorts.I agree with you .Zermatt it's really in first or second in Europe .Sure have the highest altitude or stat 4000 metres ...Chamonix its great as well and a lot of adventures...
Thats a hard disagree, imo the entire top 10 list would be made up by destinations from austria, switzerland and a few from france. after that you can start to include italy, the us, japan and eastern europe
I think Austria have the best resorts in Europe like conditions, clean accommodations ,good prices new technology to telecabines .Swiss it's very expensive and France it's good only to Chamonix for adventures.I agree Zermatt impressed me the most .Fucking amazing view and highest start of skiing pist ...4000 metres
Do you crave more slopes? studio.ua-cam.com/users/videovudZFkYbgUE/edit
yes

Yeah bro , even places like zell am see and kaprun , 100 times better than any US ski resort
I have been to Saalbach-Hinterglemm two times in my life and it was awesome. Would 100% recommend it to anyone that loves skiing.
real list is like 1 in Canada, 1 in Japan and rest is in Europe like France, Austria and Switzerland
Three resorts from Colorado but only one from France, zero from Austria, zero from Italy and zero from Scandinavia. Then you have Zermatt and St Moritz but not Verbier. Same for Park City but not Alta/Snowbird. Positive in your list was Niseko.
Pretty much the top 10 are all in Europe with the exception of Niseko let's be honest.
done 5. Deer Valley, Val D'iere, Whistler, St Anton and Zermatt this March.
If you want really good and modern slopes than you should go to the country of „skiing“ austria :)
I would have added Banff AB.
Happy New year 2022 mojo travel and all of you in advance

I'm so glad Big Bear is only 2 hours away from LA 🙌🏼
FYI The winter olympics 1960 were not at heavenly valley. They were at Squaw Valley.
Which is now known as "The Palisades"
niseko number 9 on this lift is a robber. top 5 at least. its so different to anything in the world
Dolomiti superski, the best in the world!!!!!
u should say 10 destination in the USA:)))))wasted 8 mins....
cool
Love from Bangladesh 💖💯
Seriously?
Americans ressorts all are ridiculous compared to Europeans.
Just compare the ski maps.
I'm sorry, but Saint Anton, Austria has to be one in this top.
How is Banff not on here, it’s the best place in Canada for skiing and experienced in general!
For skiing it not as good. Of the 10 biggest ski areas in the world, none is from North America. So North America is overrepresented here.
@@patrickhauser588 all of Colorado is North America?
Whistler is much better
@@UnfortunatelyHomosapien for skiing maybe but for overall ski holiday experience with everything include, Banff wins
I prefer WB, but Lake Louise is my favourite individual resort in the world.
So sad Big Sky didn't even get honorable mention
The hell? ma guy never boarded a plane or sum this list doesnt go beyond flat ass usa yall better get a ticket to europe LMAO
Top 10 places in the world if you live in the USA LOL
100% right. What a joke this guy is
Many more resorts in Europe, would agree with Zermatt, my favorite
I was to Zermatt after a lot of others resorts.I agree with you .Zermatt it's really in first or second in Europe .Sure have the highest altitude or stat 4000 metres ...Chamonix its great as well and a lot of adventures...
Change ‘in the world’ to ‘in the West’.
Heavenly didn't host the Olympics. That was Squaw Valley...
7:58 thats run 44 Hohtalli
Bakuriani 🇬🇪✌
This is ridiculous
Only one resort in North America should make the list - Whistler - top 5
The rest aren’t top 10
OMG FINALLY U CLOWNS PUT ZERMATT FIRST
zermatt, st moritz, st anton, saas fee, courchevel, kitzbuhel, solden, all robbed
Is this a joke?
the pronunciation of tignes…
Thats a hard disagree, imo the entire top 10 list would be made up by destinations from austria, switzerland and a few from france. after that you can start to include italy, the us, japan and eastern europe
agree Austria and France are hardly underrepresented, but surely Canada derserves a spot here
Thanks so much for this list, I've always wanted to visit the Swiss Alps myself! 😍⛰️
Safe to say…I disagree with however made this list👎🏾
Um sorry Big Sky??????
u pronounced sunnegga wrong its not soo-nee-guh its sun-neg-uh
yes ZERMATTT
Scotland if the Gulf Stream disappears due to climate change.
One of the worst rankings I've ever seen
You can tell this video is made by an American😂
Far too many American resorts, can tell this is an American channel........... Europe absolutely dominates over America for ski resorts
So simply and emphatically put.
Incredibly beautiful upload..thank you for sharing and happy new year

best ski resorts are in Frence. Nothing matches 3 Vallées, Paradiski or Portes du soleil.
worst ranking ever
