'One Week Jam' Short Version

This is the short version (about 5 mins) of 'One Week Jam', which is a 15 min documentary about the Melbourne jazz/music scene. I made it in 2003 for the Advanced Diploma of Multimedia that I was studying at Swinburne (Melbourne) at the time. This version was created for our final year exhibition held at ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image).
I filmed 7 performances over 7 nights in Melbourne, and interviewed the band leaders. This version mainly focuses on their opinions on the Melbourne jazz/music scene, but the longer version has a broader range of subject matter. It's also interesting to note that most of these were residencies. I think it gives a very interesting snapshot of the Melbourne scene at that moment in time.
