I watched so many videos before this one trying to resolve the issue because I did not have a drive come up when I was installing OS X Maverick. It finally worked when he said you had to erase and rename the drive in Disk Utility. Other people said that I would have to replace my hard drive or hard drive cable! Thank you so much!
