I'm on a new CFMOTO 450SS. Ride it all summer and it's been great!

whats the maintenance like compared to the street bike though? constant rebuilds?

Depends on the supermoto you get. Mine is a mx bike I converted to a sumo so it needs more maintenance.. buuuuut if you get something like a WR250 you only do oil changes every 3,000 miles and it’s super low maintenance

@@BrapGenius Most of the bikes where I live would have to be converted. Guys have most of the regular dirt bikes, Rs and F versions. Hardly a proper sumo. Funny enough the very first WR250 I have seen I only saw it last Sunday and the guy told me that he hardly has to do any maintenance on it at all. So you are completely right. I came across a honda crf250f with the dual exhausts for 5k only this week but was so turned off because of the very same rebuild issue..smh kinda annoying tbh

@@trevor2830 yeah that’s the drawback with the mx bikes. They’re super light and very powerful but the rebuilds suck

@@BrapGenius lol any recommendations? If I do get one I may keep it strictly for the dirt or grab a WR or maybe a DR for sumo street riding? Whats your thoughts on the DR?

@@trevor2830 the DRZ400SM is great for the street and low maintenance as well. Only thing is it’s carbureted so it can be fidgety in the winter. It would not be a good off-road bike tho. If u wanna have a dual sport that can actually do both get a wr250 and a set of sumo wheels. That way you can swap them out depending on if you’re doing street or dirt
