Hey Tom! Awesome tour as always!! This looks like a nice zoo. Love the park-like setting with all the trees. It looks more serene then some other zoos. I loved all the stuff you could learn about in the penguin building! It’s pretty cool how they have different colored bands on their wings so you can tell which birds is which. That being said, the penguins were probably my favorite!! It’s also nice how they have kangaroos in a zoo like this! Loved the chainsaw art also! Very detailed!

The zoo was very enjoyable, lots of trees and plants along the pathways. I wish more zoos would make it easy to distinguish the different animals from each other like the penguins. The penguin building was my favorite part of the zoo as well. Lots of information about the birds and plenty of space for them to swim around. Thanks for watching Jonathan

I'm not sure if you check comments well after you've posted, but some information about this zoo. This is my local zoo! The red pandas were separated and in the Canada lynx enclosure because they were planning to get a few mating pairs at that time. They were successful and there are now some babies! If you ever happen to be in the area again I recommend visiting again. The Ecocenter was remodeled slightly and the rainforest area is my favorite part of the whole zoo. The maned wolf is very very shy. I've only seen her twice and I've lived here my whole life. Also there's some additional small exhibits in the same building as the gift shop with microscope slides, skulls, and some lizards and bugs.

    Hey Tom!
I apologise for the extremely late comment man. Work`s been nuts. Everyone on my team except for me and 1 other person quit. We got one more person, but the way he works, which is extremely slow, it`s like it`s only me, his speed should have picked up by now, he`s been there 2 weeks. And the other guy is an arrogant old man who thinks he`s superior to me and everyone because he`s been working at Walmart for 17 years, i hate people like that. My old boss got fired for exactly that. Thankfully, because of school, i`ll never have the same shifts as him and he does not work weekends, thank god. And to top things off, school started yesterday (Wednesday, in case you`re reading this a few days after i post it, which tends to happen because of your busy schedule, totally understandable Tom. This semester, i have: Math (i suck at math but i need it for college, gotta do what you gotta do right?), french and psychology with one of my favourite teachers in school, his way of teaching makes it impossible to not understand. But enough about me, let`s get to my comment and time-stamps (of which i have plenty for you today, i can assure you that my friend).
This is a beautiful Zoo, Tom. Lots of beautiful habitats, the animals looked well cared for, happy, all those good things. As usual, you showed the Zoo wonderfully, Tom, it really feels like i`m there at the Zoo with you and i genuinely mean that my friend. I don`t know how you do it, your channel is different than all the other channels of this style, your style earned my subscription. Part of the reason you`re the only one in my subscription box, though i checked out multiple, you`re the only one who really impressed me. So, you went into the subscription box with everyone else, locked away in incarceration (Goosebumps film reference for my own enjoyment) until someone uncovers them and lets them out again... (Because the monsters were locked away in their original manuscripts). You know something Tom? It`s hard to compliment the Zoo without time stamps, it`s hard to find words, don`t know if you understand what i mean or not though lol. Wit that being said, time stamp-time.
1:25: Ah yes, ringtails. These little guys are nocturnal so i had a bit of a hunch that they would be a no-show...and i was right. Very beautiful animals though. I`ve seen them on documentaries and they`re in multiple of my animal books.
1:46: Snoozing away, cutie. As i mentioned, they`re nocturnal (i knew that even before reading that on their sign)
2:26: I have an answer for you my friend, i suppose in many ways you`re lucky to have someone like me as a fan who knows so much about animals eh? Both extant and extinct (living and dead respectably). I read somewhere a few years ago that porcupines sometimes shed their quills and grow new ones, there`s multiple theories as to why they do this. One is that the quills get sharper, thus protecting the porcupine more. I hope this answers your question.
4:11: Very nice habitat, lots of stuff to perch on. Again, i was very impressed with this Zoo`s animal habitats.
6:50: Classic Zebra butts (although they don`t have it facing you 24/7 as most of them do lol. Looks like two of the males having a tussle.
7:40: The Speke`s Gazelle is actually among my favourite African Antelope, very cool animals.
9:38: This species seems to be the most common penguin species you see in Zoos, Tom. I really like this Zoo`s system for visitors to identify the penguins. Just know your left from your right lol. It sounds simple but i`ve talked to some kids my age who don`t even know what left or right is, that`s kinda sad eh Tom?
10:15: I think you missed the fact that they`re both males Tom LOL. Although, my sister`s name is Quinn. Now if they were humans, that would be possible lol (not something i agree with in society but i`m not going into detail on that subject because i don`t want my head ripped off my Internet Trolls and butthurt people).
11:41: I`ve heard that this species (Pallas Cat) is naturally shy by nature, and don`t quote me on this but i think they`re mostly nocturnal as well. But hey, at least we briefly saw it on the re-walk. Since it`s come up, i really like that you do re-walks Tom, it`s a very cool way to see animals you did not see the first time around and what have you.
12:18: I swear, almost every Zoo you go to has these guys. Now that i think about it, we have not seen Giant Otters on the channel in a while. I gotta say, i was very surprised that the otters were a no-show the first time around, but they certainly showed off for the camera after-wars on the re-walk! Speaking of seeing things on the channel: Would it be possible to see your pets again sometime this year, Tom?
12:50: This as very interesting to read. A few of these, i did not even know were pollinators, like beetles for example. They`re all so important, as you said later in the video, if we lose bees and other pollinators, it`s a domino effect.
14:24: the one on the right is mocking you Tom lol😂, because you have hardly any hair on your head.
15:02: Actually Tom, these are Guinea Fowl.👍
17:40: Looks like we`ve got a ram (male), very few breeds of sheep does the female have horns, although there are a few.
19:05: 3 Very different breeds, all beautiful though. I`m a bit of a sucker for watusi.
20:20: Very nice enclosure! I was expecting you to mention Sheldon haha, since you mention him every time there`s a Sulcata Tortoise, and believe me i love when you do! Tell him i say hi!
21:19: They have a very nice habitat though.
22:31: Having a nice catnap, lions sleep on average 18-20 hours a day. Talk about a sleep-in! You can hear some peafowl (peacock, that`s the term for multiple of them) calling in the background.
    24:16: They`re such beautiful animals.
24:41: Am i the only one who finds it extremely funny how Tom just saw the African Painted Dogs (also called African Wild Dogs) and there`s one on the drink cup? Just me? Ok.
25:36: Very interesting to me how they have these 2 species cohabbing. Clearly, they get along though. I bet you the meercats stay out of his way though.
25:50: That is some beautiful art!! Way better than what i could do, you can probably say the same Tom. You`ve mentioned before how you have very litte artistic talent, as do i Tom.
27:41: I ended up looking this species up to see some pictures. I suggest you do too, Tom. Why am i not surprised that it lives in Australia...
Australia is like a real-life version of Skull Island. Just so you know Tom: Skull Island is an Island and the Godzilla and Kong movie Universe and all it`s species are basically super evolved species from the mainland, giant squid, gorillas, spiders, ants the size of eagles.
29:11: I got mad inside when i read Chinese Medicine. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Rhino horn, bear gall bladders. what`s next? Whale tails?!
29:54: Very beautiful animals, their calls can carry up to 2 miles!
31:07: Damn glare. Not your fault of course Tom. Very frustrating when i wanna read about a species i know very little about, which does not happen often.
37:21: Pretty cool that they have 2 groups of them!
38:38: Imagine having this thing around today, whew!
40:01: These guys are nocturnal, so most likely sleeping somewhere, again i had a hunch it would be a no-show much like the ringtails.
43:07: Such beautiful animals eh Tom? We were driving beside a wildlife sanctuary (i`ve told you about it before, Cedar Meadows) and i looked over and saw a bald eagle flying over the river, it was so beautiful. First time i ever saw one in person, outside of a zoo. There is a bald eagle nest in the reserve but i never actually saw one until then in the wild. It was so cool to see.
45:24: I thought it was a vine until you zoomed in Tom. He`s well camouflaged.
45:56: Looks like the snake is shedding. Notice the colour of the skin on it`s back? It`s getting ready to shed.
    48:40: It`s actually a goose Tom!
Again, amazing video. Looking forward to your reply, take care Tom.

That really sucks when your shorthanded at work Noah, I've delt with myself over the years. I hope it get better for you.
You know from my vids that I really try to film everything, so the viewer feels as though they are there walking next to me. Thanks for mentioning that to me Noah, shows me I've gotten better as time goes.
Ringtails have been at several zoo's I have been too, Unfortunately, I have never gotten a decent look at one of them yet.
While I'm not really a fan of the older cage type of habitats, they are large here with lots of stuff for the animals to climb or perch on.
Good old zebra never fails me, Butt shots every time LOL
It was a bummer I never got to see the Speke`s Gazelle as they are cute little animals.
The penguin habitat was great, really good way to help identify the different birds.
You know I always mention doing a re-walk of the habitats where you missed the animals the first time, most but not always, I see the animal the second time or even third time around. I love watching otters playing and swimming together.
That chicken had quite the hair style LOL
I enjoy the goats and sheep, especially the lamb, very cute.
I was disappointed nether tortuous was out that day, came back multiple times throughout that day.
African Painted Dogs are such gorgeous animals, I always enjoy seeing them at zoos.
Housing multiple species together is a good way to house more diverse species. Although I haven't seen, meercats and porcupines together before this zoo. Yeah Noah, the meercats must stay away from the back end of the porcupine. LOL
I heard the gibbons several times while I was there, but as I was right in front of them, they were silent. Oh well
I tried different angles to film the signage, but the glare was bad at every angle. The signs have a coating on them.
Yay, More meercats. The second group is spoiled, air-conditioning and lots of stuff to climb on.
I came back a few times hoping to see the Bush baby, most likely was inside the box sleeping.
I thought you would enjoy the snakes; too bad this zoo didn't have more of a collection.
      Goose, Duck, Same Thing!
Thanks for the comment, Noah. I honestly appreciate your continued support.

And you do a very good job, Tom! I feel like i`m walking next to you at the places you record for the channel, it`s a crazy feeling, and i`m amazed at how well you can accomplish it to be completely honest with you, Tom. Anytime Tom, i always happy to mention it.

You misspelled tortoise btw lol. I`m just pulling your leg Tom, you know i like to mess with you, as you do to me. Both kinds of tortoise burrow quite a bit though, so perhaps they were underground.
Yeah, Gibbon calls can carry 2 miles or so! That`s as far as a male lion`s roar!!
