Being EcoSport owner it feels really nice to hear good words from Arun, who was calling it an outdated car previously. That’s why it is always said “You need to drive it to know it “ about the Ford cars. EcoSport is still one of the best compact suv.

I am 68 year old senior citizen and driving my Ford Ecosport 1.5L petrol in Kolkata since 2015 December after I came back to India after 20 years.The handling and driving comfort of this Car is superb and equally good inside a metroplis city and also on highways.Your point in beginning of this video is very correct.The front driving view of this car is good even for a short man like me.

I am also a Pride owner of ecosport Diesel bs 4, 2019 model, give kPL 19.5 to 20 at highway at average speed 100 but see that engine RPM not to go above 2500. But after driving above 23000 kms steering stared shaking above 100kms Speed, Rest is ok very happy with the performance.
Finally someone spoke about handling
Bhai gaadi mein Android auto/ car play ho yaa na ho, air purifier ho ya na ho,
Kam se kam handling toh sahi honi hii chahiye.
For me personally when i buy a car the most imp thing is:-
Handling> power> space> features.
Bhai gaadi le rahe ho, phone nai jo features dekhe, aur kaafi log bolenge ki power> handling, but bhai uss power ka kya karoge jise tum confindence se handle naa kar sako.
I have driven 1.6 petrol verna fluidic and 1.5 liter fiesta diesel. Bhai i will prefer fiesta anyday.

@@Ritz1510 No. Ecosport is not underpowered. One who has just ourchased need to know that they need to maintain the rpm. If you dont maintain the rpm, then due to the heavy weight, you might feel underpowered. It all boils down to the experience of owning Ecosport and getting used to the machine. You need to be in righrt gear and maintain rpm above 1700. thats it

Right way to gain speed in ecosport is to upshift at 2000 rpm from 1,2,3 gear and then 4th and 5th opposed to racing engine beyond 2000 rpm on lower gears
No bro 2000rpm is less to gain high speeds at a pace. 3.5 to 4000rpm is the best to upshift. You must try it.
@@anishgogoi6432 ecosport engine is tuned for torque at lower rpms. Until you are going uphill or towing some weight, you have no use of going higher rpm. If you shift next gear and then accelerate, you will find gaining more speed than revving on lower gear

@@Ritz1510 No, ecosport has appropriate power. The problem with Hyundai, suzuki is that their turbo kicks in after 2000 rpm and require low shift with more revving to go uphill while ecosport doesn't face such limitation. However engine performance decrease if you are in traffic jam in hills or have high load but all cars suffers from that. I have been in traffic jam going uphill due to tourist season and engine feels like out of breath. Depends on conditions but every car engine is tuned as compromise between power and fuel economy. If you want more power, you have to go with car having bigger Cc and torque.
