Yes, in my bedroom. the heater caught fire after only 5 minutes of use, despite being in a clear and well-ventilated area. The bottom of the heater was engulfed in orange flames, and a significant amount of smoke filled the room. Although the fire self-extinguished, the incident was extremely alarming and left a strong electrical burn smell throughout my home, which is particularly concerning as I have asthma. It was all quite dramatic and extremely loud. That considered, the visible damage is insignificant. Thankfully it's under warranty still for another week so I'm going to get a refund but I don't think I'll be buying another one
