My guess is that the hairdresser your Mom used had not stayed current with the styles and times. My own hairdresser stays current and goes to one day classes several times a year. Not only for the cutting styles, but also for new products to use on the hair. Your Mom should have had a little disgruntled chat with this lady just as soon as she saw what direction the woman had taken.

Dear Cult Cinema Classics, please forgive me for being ignorant, but I have never heard of this film till now, despite the fact that it starred that superlative dancer, Cyd Charisse. The colorization passes muster. This could have been achieved because the quality of the film must have been pristine. During colorization, a few glitches may have occurred which is why there are green hues, now and then, that appear on the characters faces. Other than this minor setback, the colorization, is otherwise perfect. Would it be possible for Cult Cinema Classics to colorize the 1962 film noir "Night of Evil" starring Lisa Gaye and William Campell. I will be forever grateful if the answer is in the affirmative.
@ianedwards4400 You can always check the description box in every film we have and see if there is a link to the colorized (or black and white) version if we do have it. We don’t have the movie you are asking for. Glad you enjoyed this movie and appreciate the colorized version 😉 And thanks for your positive feedback. Appreciate it! Cheers!
I think MGM had to make films 🎥 in the UK because of the balance of payments from WWII loans or something. The UK government forced US companies to reinvest their UK profits in England
From 1939 on it was illegal to take money out of England. American film studios accumulated large bank balances from royalties and exhibitors' fees for showing their films in British theaters. After the war they got the idea of spending the money in England to make movies. They would hire an English studio, actors, director, etc. They would send one or two stars over from Hollywood so they would have familiar names to put up on the theater and on advertising posters. They could export the films and show them in America and get their money that way. Thanks to the devaluation of the pound everything was very cheap in England compared to the US.
