- Arriving In Hong Kong was challenging because I was held at the immigration for the first time and also getting out of airport with taxi was really difficult. But at the end all went well. While looking around Hong Kong, I've felt weird. I realized it was feeling of nostalgia at the place I've never been before because of the my childhood of watching Hong Kong movie.

If you need some touring options give me a shout. I know many routes you can try many off the beaten track. 😊
Welcome to Hong Kong. We have dedicated cycling paths in the New Territories area which is around 40KM in length. Do be very careful when you are cycling on the road. Literally, there is no road shoulder and occupational drivers can be very aggressive on the roads. Expect the usual Asian driving culture here, smaller vehicles on the road will have to give way to larger vehicles.

Welcome to HK. Hong Kong is a small city but cycling in New Territories and Lantau Island is fantastic. Recently, they opened a land crossing of which you can cross the border by bike to China. Enjoy the stay and cycling in Hong Kong.
Stay on Lantau island and take the ferry boat over to the city. You can camp on Pui o beach. It might be too hot and humid in June though? Are you going to China? There is amazing cycling around Yangshou, Guilin. Very beautiful. Worth the effort to go there. You could fly HK to Guiilin and cycle about 60km? to Yangshou if you dont want cycle from Hong Kong, Shenzhen etc. Some places in China have a lot of rain and flooding in June.

I travelled Korea early 90s ... yes Hong Kong has a unique character / vibe ... Korea at time was so different, and completely different from Taiwan snd Japan st time. Would love to have had time to get up close to the mainland China border in the New Territories and the islands.. good luck as always Jin!

맞아요~ 저도 홍콩 첨 갔을때 제 10대 후반 20대 초반을 채웠던 홍콩 영화의 깊은 향수를 느낄수 있었어요.
홍콩사람들 말이 중국 표준어인줄 알았었으니까요.
택시 기사의 광동어로 무척 오랜동안 알고 있던 언어 같은 친근함..
조금 정신없는 거리의 네온싸인 까지도..

저도 사실 중국 본토 여행할 때, 어렸을 때 영화보면서 들었던 발음이랑 달라서 의아했는데, 홍콩 오고선 알게 되었네요. 명절때마다 봤던 대부분 영화들이 중국 본토 영화 보단 홍콩 영화였다는 걸요.ㅎ 식당 가서 광동어 들으니까 영화 속에 한 장면에 있던 기분이 들었어요.ㅎㅎ 정말 신기하고 독특한 경험이었네요..ㅎ 덕분에 홍콩에서 오래된 홍콩 영화 몇 편 봤는데, 참 좋더라고요.ㅎ

이미 video 카테고리 자체가 역순이라 역순으로 볼거면 굳이 재생목록에 가서 역순으로 재생목록을 모을 필요가 있나 싶기도 하구요..
열심히 시간날때마다 보고는 있는데 유튜브에서 역순으로 보기가 있으면 저는 시간순으로 볼수있어서 좋을텐데, 순서대로, 랜덤 밖에 없더라구요.

처음에 한국말을 안해서 외국인인줄 알았다가 한국태생이라고 해서 놀람.. 현지 대화 말고 그냥 한국말로 진행하면 구독자도 늘건데 굳이 영어로 해서 이질감이 느껴짐..내용에 비해서 구독자가 적은게 안타까워서 하는말임.
2011년 세계 여행 시작 당시 여행 중 만난 모든 해외 친구들이 다 이해할 수 있도록 고려해서 영어로 유튜브를 시작하게 되었어요. 갑자기 여행 중간에 한국말로 바꾸면 오랫동안 시청해주신 분들에게 등을 돌리는 거 같아서, 한국에 돌아가게 되면 한국말로 서서히 진행하려 합니다. 양해 부탁 드려요. 감사합니다 ^^
