What’s interesting to me about all stars and “versus the world” now is that i feel like i used to be able to judge who everyone would vote to send home each week and it would never be a surprise. Now, after Blu sent home pangina, i feel like literally anything is possible any week and i have no idea what will happen. Honestly refreshing to me and i WILL claim that Blu Hydrangea is responsible for livening up a stale format and is a hero who rhymed home with home and we live laugh AND love that.

While i could see jimbo being top two more challenges i didn’t see them having the strength to out perform anyone in the lip sync so they’d likely not end up with many (if any) badges whereas pangina likely would have won more badges had she stayed. Jimbo was helped by the lip sync assassin format because they were still able to accumulate wins while not able to win lip syncs. Without badges i don’t think they could have awarded Jimbo the crown.

She claimed people broke some rules during the design challenge and also stated that Scarlet was being strategic with her elimination choice because Jonbers “was a former finalist and did well on Snatch Game.” Meanwhile Keta won her original snatch game along with 2 other wins. Jonbers also voted Keta the neediest queen. Do you think she hasn’t watched Holland? LOL
I also thought Sagitaria was in the top last week but she said in confesionals that she was in the bottom so maybe the judges were harsher with her during the critica and it wasn't shown in the edit to make her look more childish.
I will say this; I disagreed with the critique they gave to Pakita about Wrath being only in her scream; how you perform the runway is part of the look and with the scream, the meaning behind the dress and the tearing of the roses Pakita DID give Wrath. But Sagitaria absolutely failed to give Lust both with her look and with the way she performed it. Don't bring a whip to the runway if you ain't going to whip it right. So imo her last look just failed the category. But still crazy for anyone but Pupi and Hornella to have been in the bottom for the ball.

Hard agree. I think that for international seasons snatch game shouldn't be a thing. Making Ru laugh when Ru doesn't know anything about or refuses to learn about your culture is already hard enough. I'm not sure what would replace snatch game since it's so iconic, but I think it should at least be a discussion
Forgive me if you've already done it, but a fun theme for a video could be "Most Mis-Remembered Challenge Winners" or some such. There are some iconic examples of contestants who did so great in a challenge, or the challenge was judged so weirdly, etc. that the fan base commonly misremembers the outcome. Prime example would be that I think a lot of people wrongly remember that Jaida won the Ball Ball or whatever they called it, when Gigi actually won. Or that Pandora Box won the first Snatch Game when it was actually Tatianna.
I constantly forget who wins the Gay’s Anatomy challenge because obviously Sherrys edited down, and I remember Widow, Aiden, Gigi, and Jan standing out in the challenge.
I honestly think Gothy is just a shy and introverted person being pushed to do things she doesn’t want to. On one hand, don’t do anything that makes you really uncomfortable and I didn’t like that ru kept pushing her to do Ozzy Osborne despite the fact she clearly didn’t want to, but on the other hand… I do get it because it’s like, you’re on drag race girl lol what did you expect

I want to preface this by saying no hate to Gothy, I think if i saw her perform in a club I'd love her. That said.... Keeping her over Mayhem was already questionable IMO, but justifiable at least (Mayhem is a fully realised queen who blanked on what could have been a hilarious skit. Gothy did less interesting fire tricks than my hippy-goth friends do in the park for free on a Sunday afternoon, that's not an all-star talent, it's quite literally amateur). Keeping her over Keta was just.... bad TV. She is the cutest patootinest little thing, seems like a total sweetheart, but she should have been saved for an international early outs season or something like that. She's clearly overwhelmed and has no idea how to adapt to the competition. It almost seems cruel of Tia to have kept her to be honest. Set up to fail indeed.
I think Tia was joking about Jonbers and Pixie fighting. Tia hosted a watch party in London and Jonbers and Pixie both went there to watch/support, and they filmed a skit about the “fight” backstage. They all seem to be friends.
The judging of España is making it a really hard season to watch. The Javier’s are a little hard to watch sometimes but I love España so much that I force myself to watch

Video idea... Seeing how far different drag families got on thier season (e.g Sasha + Kerri Colby, Dax ! + Violet, Alexis + Vanjie, Coco + Kahanna etc).
Yeah I was like Gothy noooo don't do Kim Woodburn. One you're nothing like her amd could choose a way more fitting celebrity and 2 cause Kim's been done properly before. It was a school boy error and I think when Gothy finds herself as a person and a drag queen she'll be cringing at her choice. She's still a caterpillar in a room full of butterflies 🦋
i don’t even think it was strategy, i think tia just related a lot to gothy’s situation cause she also couldn’t improve on her weakness during her season, she even cried saying she knew what that felt like during their conversation
I don't really get Tia's reasoning for choosing Keta, because it'll just put a target on her back from the other girls now that they know she'll send home the bigger competition, and it might suggest to the non-UK queens that she's still keeping the UK alliance alive, which puts even MORE targets on her back.
I would agree but also they all would have sent keta home last week so I think all of them thought of eliminating competition. Which is funny considering Scarlett said it the loudest but then kept Keta! I personally again think they wanted keta gone bc they knew keta was a potential finalist, so using this opportunity is like potentially securing themselves (especially Tia) the position in the top 3
It was a good strategic move. Even if Keta won once, she didn’t have any “alliance” or a strong support from the judge (unlike LGD for example). It’s not like with Jimbo, the “consequences” are mild here. By keeping Gothy, she basically ensures she will fill a bottom spot next week or the week after. Gothy won’t win, so technically she “got rid” of 2 competitors for the 50k.
Honestly, your fan base is international at this point so I kind of like keeping Mangled Morning! Just because it's afternoon for some viewers doesn't mean it won't be morning for others ☺

Early rumours had it that the Spanish queens had a pact to hold out for more money from the producers but that Sagataria broke ranks and accepted what was on offer and the others then felt they had to accept it as well ( at least those who took part, some people may still have refused). If that's true it would explain the attitude of the others to her as she would have cost them thousands, potentially tens of thousands, of Euros.
idk if it's the language barrier but no lol sethlas didn't handle the situation well at all + she immediately tweeted shady things about the fight when according to sagittaria it was resolved and that's why sagittaria and other people have been coming at her, i don't justify the hate and extreme comments but she's been dismissive of sagittaria's feelings as well and has been calling her all types of adjectives so she's pretty much not innocent at all. You guys believe the edit too much sometimes

Honestly for espania the judging has been questionable a lot of times and there’s been some heavy favoritism to certain queens especially sethlas so that’s probably why sagittaria was upset and wanted to leave. I just think that mera and scarlet love sethlas a lot that that they don’t see it
Was there though? Sethlas absolutely deserved her top two spot on ep 1 & 2 and could have been top instead of high on ep 4 instead of Samantha and it would have been completely fair. The only episode were you could call favoritism would be ep 3
Imma be honest here.. I feel like LGD wasn't as bad as they made it look. Like she had at least two good jokes, but it seemed like Ru didn't want to volley with her. In my mind she was perfectly safe. And Choriza was bottom three. I feel like the jokes were there, but I wished there was more impro, especially with Tia. I think it would have benefitted both performances. The entire Snatch Game could've used more impro, but this Family Feud format didn't help at all. But I will say that Choriza looked beautiful. That mug was everything. It was sitting, mama. And Keta didn't deserve this. Not when Gothy fully gave up. It's like.. Will there ever be justice for Keta? I just wish she'd be seen to the extent she truly deserves. What makes this more frustrating is that you know Gothy won't get nothing out of staying one more episode. As a strategic move, sure, I can applaud this. But as a viewer, it makes me worried for the rest of the season. P.S. Sorry for my full on essay
I think Tia's thinking must have gone towards 1. I can't pick another UK queen's lipstick to go home 2. Keta is a bigger threat . Sad seeing Gothy just not give a $hite anymore & not fight to stay especially when Tia was practically begging her to give her a reason to keep her. Ru Paul really annoys me on the UK snatch game. He blatantly doesn’t understand UK history or references. Choriza’s Catherine of Aragon was actually really good. She looked like her & the jokes were about the the horrible treatment she got from Henry VIII but Ru was clearly not getting it. Very standard ignorance from Americans about other cultures.
The snatch game is pretty unfair to non-native speakers and in general to non-Americans when Ru is hosting. Carla Bruni was perfect, she's Italian-french and also had a singing career with a charming yet pretty mumbling song, with quite unintelligible words... That's why lgd was so committed, the point is just that Ru wasn't that familiar with her. I can see how you should manage to make funny even a virtually unknown character, however that's very very difficult if you're not speaking your language or the character's own language
Would have chopped Gothy first episode so hard. At least Mayhem is entertaining no matter where she places! Gothy could have been bottom 3 every single episode so far.
Sorry but Mayhem basically DIDNT participate and the challenge. There’s no justifying keeping her THAT episode even though it would have benefitted the season in the long run.
I wonder if Spain changed the contract where the queens cannot quit… LMD did that for the contracts on the next season after a few contestants were quitting left and right… I could see since it’s a small cast, DR Spain has all the challenges planned out, so it would be hard to adjust if they are down a queen… but also the queens deserve the chance to retire gracefully, we know the competition is tough and taking care of yourself needs to come first.
I'm so done with the España judges and their insane favoritism. Plus, the new twist added this week was atrocious in its unfairness just to top it all off. It's very clear to me who they wanted to crown from the beginning, and who they wanted to redeem from the beginning. This season is a joke. Also Sethlas went off on Sagittaria on Twitter more than once, so she didn't really handle it great. I do feel bad for Sethlas though because she did slay the season but the extreme favoritism she got from the judges put such a sour taste on people's mouths. I pray that they get some common sense by the finale and crown Juriji

Hannah would have been doing Shirley before AS8 had aired, I think. I thought she was really funny though and deserved the top regardless of it being a repeat. Tia and Scarlet were also great. I definitely think the ESL Queens are at a disadvantage. I feel like they all have better characters and references but because they need to make RU laugh they need to choose someone that Ru knows and that they are likely less familiar with/struggle to impersonate. España is a bit uncomfortable, and I don't know what to make of it. On the show the other Queens clearly felt a certain way about Saggitaria, that seems to have changed a bit since the season and there's a lot of backlash against Sethlas. I don't speaknSpanish so its hard to follow, but the drama isn't really fun to watch, for me at least. I am enjoying España outside of that though, the talent is really there and I'm so happy with the three front runners of Juriji, Sethlas and Samantha. Especially love seeing the glow up from Season 2 for Samantha
I do think Supremme should have handled the quit differently. I can somewhat see what they were trying to get at, but it should've been handled with far more care and a focus on what's best for mental health. Simultaneously, much of the Spanish fandom has been reacting to the past two episodes in a way that is showing a ton of bias towards Sagittaria and negating the other queens. Unfortunately some passionate queer Spaniards can be quite toxic as well, and this has been evidence by not just Drag Race but also Benidorm Fest. Sagittaria was definitely in her feels about the ball decision. Personally, I think her final look was so well constructed but wasn't selling lust. Plus the fandom loves to forget that a ball challenge is more than just the final look. There was a decent amount of mixed messaging about where her head was at and whether she was actually in a good place moving forward. In the challenge/runway, I thought Sagittaria was a deserved bottom 2. You could tell she wasn't in it and I found it quite hard to distinguish how much of this was due to mental health/wellbeing vs feelings that there was bias against her and favouritism and not wanting to continue.

I’m upset with Tia’s decision. Not necessarily with her sending Keta home, but with her keeping Gothy, who is just so clearly unprepared for this and it is uncomfortable for the audience to watch her try.
In terms of Spain AS, it's so weird to me that the comments on their instagram seems to have the total opposite opinion as I have, and from your videos, you also seem to be liking it. I think Keta wasn't robbed this time. Yes she had one win but imo she wasn't competition because she was shy and her energy was not as killer as in Holland 2, it didn't feel as if she was gonna keep up and start winning.
My 5 cents: At this point, Keta wasn't gonna win anyway, all the queens for some reason wanted her gone last week and by keeping Gothy, Tia saves a UK Queen and someone she and the others will definetly beat in the competition, so giving most queens that are still there at least another week. 💁🏽♂️
Tbf, I didn't expect LGD to win the challenge (comedy in another language is very hard) but I was very disappointed. Carla Bruni was such a great choice. I thought she would rely on her husband (former president, who has been on several trials for corruption scandals, it's universal and could work without knowing the character).

I don't really get Tia's reasoning for choosing Keta, because it'll just put a target on her back from the other girls now that they know she'll send home the bigger competition, and it might suggest to the non-UK queens that she's still keeping the UK alliance alive, which puts even MORE targets on her back.
I would agree but also they all would have sent keta home last week so I think all of them thought of eliminating competition. Which is funny considering Scarlett said it the loudest but then kept Keta! I personally again think they wanted keta gone bc they knew keta was a potential finalist, so using this opportunity is like potentially securing themselves (especially Tia) the position in the top 3

It was a good strategic move. Even if Keta won once, she didn’t have any “alliance” or a strong support from the judge (unlike LGD for example). It’s not like with Jimbo, the “consequences” are mild here.
By keeping Gothy, she basically ensures she will fill a bottom spot next week or the week after. Gothy won’t win, so technically she “got rid” of 2 competitors for the 50k.
Honestly, your fan base is international at this point so I kind of like keeping Mangled Morning! Just because it's afternoon for some viewers doesn't mean it won't be morning for others ☺

Early rumours had it that the Spanish queens had a pact to hold out for more money from the producers but that Sagataria broke ranks and accepted what was on offer and the others then felt they had to accept it as well ( at least those who took part, some people may still have refused). If that's true it would explain the attitude of the others to her as she would have cost them thousands, potentially tens of thousands, of Euros.
idk if it's the language barrier but no lol sethlas didn't handle the situation well at all + she immediately tweeted shady things about the fight when according to sagittaria it was resolved and that's why sagittaria and other people have been coming at her, i don't justify the hate and extreme comments but she's been dismissive of sagittaria's feelings as well and has been calling her all types of adjectives so she's pretty much not innocent at all.

Honestly for espania the judging has been questionable a lot of times and there’s been some heavy favoritism to certain queens especially sethlas so that’s probably why sagittaria was upset and wanted to leave. I just think that mera and scarlet love sethlas a lot that that they don’t see it

Imma be honest here..
I feel like LGD wasn't as bad as they made it look. Like she had at least two good jokes, but it seemed like Ru didn't want to volley with her. In my mind she was perfectly safe.
And Choriza was bottom three. I feel like the jokes were there, but I wished there was more impro, especially with Tia. I think it would have benefitted both performances. The entire Snatch Game could've used more impro, but this Family Feud format didn't help at all. But I will say that Choriza looked beautiful. That mug was everything. It was sitting, mama.
And Keta didn't deserve this. Not when Gothy fully gave up. It's like.. Will there ever be justice for Keta? I just wish she'd be seen to the extent she truly deserves. What makes this more frustrating is that you know Gothy won't get nothing out of staying one more episode. As a strategic move, sure, I can applaud this. But as a viewer, it makes me worried for the rest of the season.

I literally am confused as to who Gothy really is. 5 years after her original series, shes not got any better at her makeup or her style, and she hasnt got any better at her runway walk or even building a stronger personality. She seems really lovely as person away from drag. Someone shy, gentle and soft, but at drag shes just confusing. She's the epitome of the instagram drag queen who just takes great pictures and delivers great concepts on social media. But in a televised reality show, she just isnt right.

Ru Paul really annoys me on the UK snatch game. He blatantly doesn’t understand UK history or references. Choriza’s Catherine of Aragon was actually really good. She looked like her & the jokes were about the the horrible treatment she got from Henry VIII but Ru was clearly not getting it.

The snatch game is pretty unfair to non-native speakers and in general to non-Americans when Ru is hosting. Carla Bruni was perfect, she's Italian-french and also had a singing career with a charming yet pretty mumbling song, with quite unintelligible words... That's why lgd was so committed, the point is just that Ru wasn't that familiar with her. I can see how you should manage to make funny even a virtually unknown character, however that's very very difficult if you're not speaking your language or the character's own language
Would have chopped Gothy first episode so hard. At least Mayhem is entertaining no matter where she places! Gothy could have been bottom 3 every single episode so far.

I could see since it’s a small cast, DR Spain has all the challenges planned out, so it would be hard to adjust if they are down a queen… but also the queens deserve the chance to retire gracefully, we know the competition is tough and taking care of yourself needs to come first.

I'm so done with the España judges and their insane favoritism. Plus, the new twist added this week was atrocious in its unfairness just to top it all off. It's very clear to me who they wanted to crown from the beginning, and who they wanted to redeem from the beginning. This season is a joke. Also Sethlas went off on Sagittaria on Twitter more than once, so she didn't really handle it great. I do feel bad for Sethlas though because she did slay the season but the extreme favoritism she got from the judges put such a sour taste on people's mouths. I pray that they get some common sense by the finale and crown Juriji

Hannah would have been doing Shirley before AS8 had aired, I think. I thought she was really funny though and deserved the top regardless of it being a repeat. Tia and Scarlet were also great.
I definitely think the ESL Queens are at a disadvantage. I feel like they all have better characters and references but because they need to make RU laugh they need to choose someone that Ru knows and that they are likely less familiar with/struggle to impersonate.
España is a bit uncomfortable, and I don't know what to make of it. On the show the other Queens clearly felt a certain way about Saggitaria, that seems to have changed a bit since the season and there's a lot of backlash against Sethlas. I don't speaknSpanish so its hard to follow, but the drama isn't really fun to watch, for me at least.
I am enjoying España outside of that though, the talent is really there and I'm so happy with the three front runners of Juriji, Sethlas and Samantha. Especially love seeing the glow up from Season 2 for Samantha

I do think Supremme should have handled the quit differently. I can somewhat see what they were trying to get at, but it should've been handled with far more care and a focus on what's best for mental health. Simultaneously, much of the Spanish fandom has been reacting to the past two episodes in a way that is showing a ton of bias towards Sagittaria and negating the other queens. Unfortunately some passionate queer Spaniards can be quite toxic as well, and this has been evidence by not just Drag Race but also Benidorm Fest.
Sagittaria was definitely in her feels about the ball decision. Personally, I think her final look was so well constructed but wasn't selling lust. Plus the fandom loves to forget that a ball challenge is more than just the final look. There was a decent amount of mixed messaging about where her head was at and whether she was actually in a good place moving forward. In the challenge/runway, I thought Sagittaria was a deserved bottom 2. You could tell she wasn't in it and I found it quite hard to distinguish how much of this was due to mental health/wellbeing vs feelings that there was bias against her and favouritism and not wanting to continue.

I’m upset with Tia’s decision. Not necessarily with her sending Keta home, but with her keeping Gothy, who is just so clearly unprepared for this and it is uncomfortable for the audience to watch her try.

I think Keta wasn't robbed this time. Yes she had one win but imo she wasn't competition because she was shy and her energy was not as killer as in Holland 2, it didn't feel as if she was gonna keep up and start winning.

My 5 cents: At this point, Keta wasn't gonna win anyway, all the queens for some reason wanted her gone last week and by keeping Gothy, Tia saves a UK Queen and someone she and the others will definetly beat in the competition, so giving most queens that are still there at least another week. 💁🏽♂️
Tbf, I didn't expect LGD to win the challenge (comedy in another language is very hard) but I was very disappointed. Carla Bruni was such a great choice. I thought she would rely on her husband (former president, who has been on several trials for corruption scandals, it's universal and could work without knowing the character).
