Hey mate I have cannon x and when i go downhill and press the break to control speed rpm goes really high. Say im in D6 on 60 then i put breaks on as im going downhill it will drop gears too quick and will still be on 40 or something in D3. Do u think there is bit of issue or it’s normal in this or every ute? Thanks mate
Hi mate, i have notice our cannon does the same thing sometimes, its just doing that so that you have engine braking aswell to help slow down rather than just brakes alone. i think its pretty normal. aslong as its not redlining and not changing gear i dont think it will cause any issues. Thanks mate. Really appreciate this. Also can you please advise if its ok to use pedals to change gears when its in normal drive mode. Cause going downhill when rpm goes high as I mentioned in last comment I just use pedals to change gears manually. And rpm doesn’t go high as I change gears manually with pedals. Thanks mate
@@calm_ghost4693 no worries at all, yes it's fine to use the paddles to change gears whenever you want, including in normal driving mode, won't hurt anything . Cheers
