Levi Ackerman Rin is not a homophobe in the dubbed version. Vic migogna who voices Rin would have never auditioned for the role if he knew his character was degrading people of their sexuality. Plus, the show is only about swimming and friendship. None of the characters in the show are actually gay, and it would also give the show and company a bad reputation if the characters were homophobic. And it would not have the BIG fanbase it has today if the characters were homophobic.
