I can't accept that this is a real movie trailer. It looks like an early 2010s UA-cam skit.
to me it looks like a 1991 made-for-tv movie.
I mean Rob Zombie is basically stuck in the 90s. I don't think any of his movies are anymore modern than like the 2000s. His movies are hit or miss all I know is I'm gonna watch it and it'll probably be a shitpost

I will gauantee you that the movie was supposed to be in black and white, to look like the show, but the studio wouldn’t let them keep it that way, so all the shit that was done to make it look like a 1950’s sitcom now looks insanely bad because it just wasn’t supposed to be seen that way
Conspiracy theory: this trailer was purposely bad to drum up interest and the movie will be a masterpiece. They're just covering up for the lack of advertising budget.

@@Creepystalker102 Bad movies usually get good trailers to compensate for their badness though. This trailer is monster-sonic levels of bad. It was like they spent the last of their 500$ target gift card budget on face makeup and went "oh shit, we still need to make a trailer." Which leads me to believe that this movie will be Oscar worthy.

I've said it before on Twitter, but I'll say it again: I honestly get the feeling that this is an ashcan movie that Universal legally has to release to maintain the Munsters copyright or something like that. So they've put close to no money into all aspects and have given it zero marketing in the hopes it'll slip by unnoticed.

If you've ever seen a color photo of a black and white set, that's pretty much every shot. They would use all kinds of garish colors to get the contrast right in black and white picture. No joke I wanna watch this movie with the color off.

It was too faithful to the original, making a modern remake is a very precarious tightrope. I can see that they fell from the rope but I'm glad they had a good time making it
I've unironically always been a fan of The Munsters it's rare to see it that referenced by people in my experience

@@1237-v8p It's cause the Munsters Go Home came out right after the TV series wrapped in the 60s. Whereas the Addams Family gets so much more love because their movies came out in the 90s. Introduced an entirely different generation to the series. Shame the Munsters probably won't be getting the same treatment..
