@NicolaiResch youtube started getting somewhere in 2006 and that's when facebook opened up for the general public. Facebook used to be for US. College students. I remember one american I know had it. I thought it was stupid :D Then about one year later everyone was using it

PS1 pretty much dominated. Nintendo 64 actually did OK in the US, but in the rest of the world it was considerably less popular.
