Mmmm… I make these at home often, but I cut them round. I like her tip with adding salt water to them first. I also like to add garlic and pepper and eat them with hummus or guacamole.
2:40 yes that’s the reason I stopped buying plantain chips outside. It was one of the major tv stations documentary, for over 5yrs I’ve never bought these chips in traffic. We were told they melt polythene in the oil before frying the chips to give it a longer shelf life.
Good morning beautiful Tatiana. These snacks are also made here. I did not know that they are made with green plantains. They are delicious every time I can buy a bag, the cost of the bag is a little less than a dollar. Thanks for this video. I send you a big hug from Mexico 🇲🇽
Guys it's 7:16 Am here in Jamaica, so I'm just waking up and the first thing I saw as I grab my phone is Tatiana making delicious snacks, I'm telling you oooo I'm so hungry🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Signora Tatiana sei bravissima come sempre. One thing I admire you for, is that you always find a way to physically help those you’re filming. Love the video, I even ended up making my self some at home since you made me hungry lol 😂
That’s my favourite snack there ☝🏼, l really love ❤️ it . I had some yesterday. But the thing is I don’t know how the one they sell always come out so crunchy even when it’s in a sachet 😀😀. When you prepare in the house it doesn’t come out crunchy like that 😂 or is it because I use kitchen knife 🔪 to slice the plantain ! 😂.
It’s Multifunctional stainless steel knife fruits peeler cutter sold by AMAZON. $8.39. It’s very easy to use for the best uniformed delicious plantain chips.
Used to buy bags and bags of these from the Ghanaian sellers that walk between the cars on the roads. My mouth is watering just watching this 😁 Would love to try to make my own as I'm missing them sooooo much. Does anyone know what kind of oil that is? Also I don't think I can get that kind of knife for cutting it up in the UK, is there something else I could use?
This is a beautiful lesson. My only suggestion is the cloth should not be lying on the ground plus packing it they should wear gloves of some sort. Just a suggestion. Even if they cover their hands with another plastic if no gloves.
Please let's support the ol lady on her venture. I love her honesty and freedom of reason
Tati you’re doing a great job. Ma Becky is a very good teacher, she explains all the processes so well. I hope the kids around are also learning.
