DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS How to defeat first boss the Golem

Before the battle make sure you have enough supplies .Wrecking balls, Cantlin shields and health items plus as a bonus i used obsidian stone surroundind the boundaries of the town it protected the buildings very well the golem ‘ s boulders did not break the obsidian stone walls

Bought this game when it dropped for the Switch. My Cantalin had at least 35 hours of work complete with a level 5 base, a castle I dubbed Ho'in Heights Brothel which goes underground directly underneath the base and is the same size as the base. 50 beds, used condom pots, a bouncer I trapped down there and on and on...point being, in 10 attempts, the golem ruined EVERYTHING, every time, top and bottom, ...until I saw this video. I used the obsidian 6 high (because I have three stories) and he didn't touch SHIT. You saved me a LOT of time and work, so thanks a bunch.

@@ireneshelton3661 This is an OLD post...and I haven't touched it in years. But if memory serves, he can still break the obsidian, but if you build it high enough, his head won't clear it after he breaks all he can.

so, obsidon wall's do help sweet that make's it a lot eaiser for me then, i was trying to take this guy on just yesterday and well died, so figred i'd better find a vid on it to see how to best beat the golem

Your base is awesome. I just made one huge square with loads of rooms, I didn't make everything separate. This looks so much better. I've gone mental with all my defences, I'm not sure if obsidian is necessary but I'm going to use it anyway.

I pgot up to this bit and my whole hamlet was destroyed in 2 hits and I didn't even save :(. Well I did....but at the beginning of the game xD so in other words..had to start again

a tip you guys, if you save them game right before this boss level after you’ve defeated all the other battles- if you fail to defeat the boss close out your game. it will take you back to right before you defeat the boss without any village damage

Can you please tell me how did you build that wall around the town that he can't break ? I have a normal wall with spikes, you know , the stone blockade and he destroys it very easy of course .

Livius I’ll answer for you! Those bombs that he’s using, go through the last portal and blow up some of those obsidian blocks that you cannot mine without the war hammer or bombs. That’s what he’s using :)

Go through the last portal you need wrecking balls to collect them it can't be collected by other means
