Was waiting for your reaction! 😁 The lyrics of “Paranoia”, “Antidote” as well as the other songs in “YELLOW” album were co-written by Daniel from his own experiences with the hate he received as an idol & his problems with anxiety. He went thru quite a lot, especially in 2019 (before the start of his solo career) when he found out that his ex-company had transferred his rights to a 3rd party without his consent. The legal battle was brutal, it came with extensive media play, media ban, attacks on his character & etc. So he was under quite a lot of pressure. But he’s finally free from all that now & wanted to share his story & struggles thru his music to conclude the 3rd & final mini album from his color series. Again, thank you so much for always checking out his combacks. Oh! The Greek word on his neck translates to “incomplete”. 😊

He’s suffered from his anxiety and panic as we can see from his previous song, Paranoia, and now his is looking for the antidote. However, according to his interview, he realizes that antidote does not exist in the reality. The only way to escape from that darkness is that you should never ever give up for all hope. That’s why he puts a strikethrough on the name of the song. Even though his latest releases are quite dark, in his real life he is such a sweet guy, a gamer who really in love with cats. If you want to know more about him you can watch some variety shows like, I live alone and Jessi’s Showterview. You will see another side of Kang Daniel.
