- Gotta say it... I love Milwaukee! :D Probably more than any other city in the US... Check out this aerial night tour of that magnificent city... Consider that was recorded during Coronavirus quarantine... Usually the streets are not that empty and the highway 90 usually gets busy all day long but Wisconsin is still until stay at home order do to Covid 19 outbreak...

Excellent work, beautifully done. I moved to the Third Ward from L.A. last August and just was beginning to fall into the Milwaukee groove when this virus arrived 6 months later and threw a wrench into most everything. Gotta say I love this place and its folks. It'll rebound and be better than ever!
how is it like living in MKE? do you enjoy it?
@@spidurmano Winter is very long and Fall is too short, but it's nice to experience the four seasons. Downtown MKE is very cool, small and walkable. The river gets lively in the summer time and the food and bar scene is as good as it is anywhere. I just need to recall all my defensive driving lessons as the drivers out here are super wreckless!

You had a beautiful night to capture a lot of great footage. All the neon and such were great, but my favorite was overlooking the city to the full moon reflecting off the lake. Well done.

To be fair to those outside of Milwaukee, not all of Milwaukee is in our tiny downtown area. Yes the streets have less traffic but it's still very busy during the day time outside of the downtown area.
Its not tiny. Milwaukee is a great city with rich history. I've been there and think it's a fun place. But I pretty much like any city/town on one of the Great Lakes!

You mean interstate 94? Its concurrent of 94/43 for Southside, 94 splits to the west and 43 goes northbound from downtown

Milwaukee in a metro are called the Fox Valley, why I’m such a Bucks fan. Also, the Fox River in Downtown Appleton and Lawrence University is cool to check out. It’s like a mini-Spokane.

Im moving here in august, could someone that’s familiar with the area tell me about what to do here at downtown? Like nightlife, general activities, sports, bars, cafes?
Just know to avoid Triangle, Triangle North, Hampton Heights, Miller Valley, King Park, North Division and everything northwest of Marquette University and you'll be okay. But there's Summerfest, the Deer District, and a beautiful lakefront that will someday get renovated into a plaza along with the Couture, which is only one of many new buildings that have been constructed within the past 10 years. Northwest Mutual Corporate offices, 7Seventy7, and the nearby North End complex are all additions to the downtown area, but stick to the Lower East Side to be safe. We also have the Antetekoumpos and many high-class restaurants in the Third Ward. Oh--and we have the HOP STREETCAR! Chicago INDY, and Columbus be so jealous!!!

@@Sideonedummy2 It's where all the crime and shootings occur. Places like the lower east side are relatively nice. Check out the new North End apartment complex 'cause it's amazing there. They got a swimming pool next to the Milwaukee river. ;)
