I got it by shooting the BFG at the end of Nekraval Pt2 and I hit a zombie head on with the BFG orb, but it also killed everything else after, so for a split second I used a BFG shot to kill one zombie, so I got the achievement. Pure dumb luck.

I feel like people don’t do it cause it’s boring to just pull the trigger once to get through a fight that’s supposed to be challenging. I tried it myself and I didn’t really have fun

I feel the fear that was felt by a Titan from an ancient fable. I love how the BFG-9000 only gameplay terrorizes. The Two-Tailed Fox would frighten me here.
All well and good, but it lacks the oomph I was expecting, largely because there aren't any rooms that are densely packed with fiends. Way back in Doom and Doom 2 (long before graphics got this good), it was quite satisfying to clear out a whole room of enemies with the BFG.

I guess technological advances aren't exactly 100% perfect. **sighs in disappointment...**

I got this because I ran out of shotgun ammo and it auto switched to the bfg
