  • Lori and I went off-roading in search of wild organic prickly pear. We started at the Little Pan staging area and did the first 11 miles of Table Mesa Road. The trail/road was in great condition - no mud and minimal dust after the first couple of miles. There was an abundance of ripe prickly pear fruit. We prepped it and cooked up several jars of drink syrup and jam. Being that the fruit grew in the mountains, it's completely free of weed killer, pesticides and car pollution, and it's absolutely delicious.
We went on our Polaris RZR PRO XP Ultimate. The trail is really passable in probably any OHV or SXS. The trail is also frequented by people in Jeeps and trucks as well. Our friends in their jeep hit 19% tilt in one spot.
