Nearly two hours? best Sunday ever!
We are on a warm, cozy, porch………….vlog time. You need to rest. Sleep is important it can seriously affect your health. Love you always, take care and stay safe. Hope you had brunch. Hope you feel better soon. I have a horrible time sleeping I was given a whole list of don’t do. No screen time an hour before bed, relax, do something that calms me in my case I read before I try to sleep. My sleeping is so affected that if I try to lay in bed and force it my anxiety goes off the chain. I just get up and go with no sleep it’s hard for people to understand when they have no issues with sleep. Really cloudy in Missouri supposed to rain every day this week makes for an emotional week with gray weather. Hope you get some rest and feel better. All the lovely chats about your mom make me wonder when the pain of losing your mom gets better. My mom passed unexpectedly 2.5 years ago, and it still feels raw.

I agree with you on the Witt case being so freaking frustrating. The “investigators” really screwed her family getting justice. It is true that we don’t get big cases like that here at all, but if you’re gonna call yourself investigators then you need to actually investigate. I feel had they done a thorough job, the case would have been solved, 100%. I hate that her mother passed away without answers.

Here in Pittsburgh, PA open house means that you’re showing your house to be sold hoping somebody buys it. But in the eastern part of this state it means there’s a party and you can come anywhere from the party’s beginning to the party’s end and you can like drop in and leave whenever you want.

I just ran a couple of errands and it took about an hour. The first 30 minutes were fine, but then I shafted. The warmer weather and my being overweight plays roles in that. Happens to all of us. :)

Actually, there's been a lot going on with Delphi. The trial is currently scheduled for October and there was a three day pre-trial hearing recently. Within the pre-trial hearing, evidence was presented that Richard Allen confessed to different people upwards of 60 times. The defense team has made this a circus.

However, I watched the episode today of the one you posted and her hair is grayish blueish!! I couldn’t tell that in your post. I was like 😱 gurrrlllll She is still a beautiful woman though.
The Witt case reminds me of when my family moved up to Jupiter Farms after Hurricane Andrew and my cousin was in high school. I was really young, like no older than 11, and I remember my aunt telling my mom about a teenage girl that had been ended and found on the side of the road. They thought it was the boyfriend because he had some weird behavior and others had observed DV, but it never went further than that. And it was this beautiful young teenage girl who was just a normal girl in high school. I had always known that relationships weren’t necessarily safe because of what my house growing up was. But because of where I was developmentally while hearing that information, it really stuck with me and formed how I engaged in potential romantic relationships.
I remember still missing Morgan as being good. It didn’t seem to have the same issues you mentioned about At Witt’s End. I finished the first episode and I thought it was painfully boring. I’ll probably finish it later when some trials slow down.

I'm 48 years old. My mom says that as a baby I slept through the night until I was two weeks old and I haven't slept all night since. I've had reactions to Melatonin. Drinking puts me to sleep but I don't feel rested in the morning. The only thing that really does help is putting one earphone in and listening to a long Peter Monn vlog! ❤

generally i’m not one to speak on prescriptions as i’m not a medical professional by any means, but has your doctor discussed clonidine at all? it was originally a hypertension medicine but now has different formulations for sleep, adhd, and anxiety, and the adhd version has helped me with all three a lot!
usually doctors are hesitant to choose it first bc you can’t have any alcohol on it, but it’s worth asking if you’re interested! there is an adjustment period when you may feel tired and such, and you have to be good about taking it every single day. i have had so many poor reactions to medicines, but this one hasn’t bothered me at all thus far. and i love not having to worry about how much coffee i can have.
Still missing Morgan was better than At Witts end by far. I think you'll like Morgan's mom and the main cold case cop

Oh, and I LOVED Season 1 (and I enjoyed season 3) of Dark. I didn't love season 2, mainly because I had a hard time following it, and it just had a different vibe. It felt like the show lost its footing for a minute, then refound it. In my personal opinion.

God I used to love Mrs. Grass’s soup. It’s kind of garbage. 😂 like basically salty water and a bunch of noodles. But it was so yummy to have as a kid. 100% better than chicken noodle from a can!

I think that’s really fair criticism of When the Moon Turns to Blood. It’s well researched in terms of the extreme belief systems present to get where it went. However, the facts of Lori and Chad’s lives? It only made up 10% of the book. Tylee and JJ, and Tammy for that matter, were only brought up as facts and that fact was these people were ended so we’re here. When actually the only reason we’re all here is for Tylee, JJ, and Tammy.

Yeah, I watch True Crime a lot. No offense meant, but that sounds like something I wouldn’t enjoy. When they blame victims and excuse behavior, I won’t even say names. If it’s generally repetitive and seems like no one took their job seriously, then I just don’t have an interest. It’s like the Thin Blue Line. I know it was an original and started a lot of what was done for the genre. But it is so boring. The same French fry and milkshake clip falling on the road for 30 seconds of every minute. If what the people are saying is actually interesting, then it’s going to be far more interesting to see their face. True Crime is just a weird genre lol
