Since Galapagos is such a remote destination, I had expected some sort of disclaimers to sign, but FIVE (5)……oh well, it’s definitely worth it to me….I’m not going half way around the world and let a few papers keep me from seeing and experiencing the wild and wonder that is Galapagos!!!!
I’m really surprised there’s a waiver re photos and videos, especially with the price of these trips. I’d imagine there’s a lot of people who don’t want their photo taken by the cruise line to later use…
It is interesting as in fact in all cruise contracts I have looked at it gives them the right to do that anyway! The main reason here is Silversea have an on board videographer on expedition ships who films the trip and gives everyone a copy - so they really are using the footage and so guess they want to make sure they are very covered...

I had thought would be as had some in Antarctica and Arctic. Though not as many! In Galapagos snorkelling is very important as a huge chunk of wildlife to see is marine. There was a session every day

I have never had a cruise ship ride. I am in Europe, have a 4 year old kid. Please advise a suitable one we can enjoy.
