@@vgonzalez11apu Hope you are well! It's going to be like anything and down to individual experience. In an "Urban Warrior" environment with a good network of chargers (thinking like middle of nowhere Midwest vs Seattle could be different experience on how well the charger infrastructure is built out yet). I have the 2024 and with the fixes made on cold weather charging and 150 on the AWD model I have had a great experience. I live on public charging only and rely currently on a fast charger at my local library and free level one top offs during morning coffee as that plaza has chargers also. I have had mine for over 1 month and it is my favorite car, aside from my 2013 Camry Hybrid. Incredible build and quality, once Toyota improves the battery range to 500-1000 miles per charge, this will be the perfect EV.

People love to slate Toyota as a brand and ok the BZ4x might charge slower than a Tesla but, they have a massive dependable dealer network that offers me 10 years warranty. Toyota have looked after me and my cars through cheap high mileage petrol, then diesel, then back to petrol and now hybrid. None of them ever skipped a beat. 3 months of ownership , 3000 miles….. great experience. Mild weather accepted but range experience 330 miles. Very comfortable seats . 0% finance for contract hire…….
@@davidbartlett781 yes but in the 3000 mile review only about 350 miles. I have one problem - when leaving the car for 10 days I returned to a completely flat interior battery (drive battery 71%). The A A were there within 30 minutes and gave a boost start. Strangely the Toyota dealer could find no battery discharge so this is a concern

You can run the air con with the car off, via the app. You'll have to turn off the interior scan for the alarm, it runs the sourcing for 20 mins to pre-heat or cool the car, so not good for long trips away from the car and dog. Plus the do-gooders will probably smash the window because you're being cruel and they won't understand the aircon is running. I love my BZ4X.

Here in Japan, there has not been a single fire incident involving a Japanese-made EV. The batteries (Toyota-Panasonic, GS-Yuasa,Toshiba) used in Toyota, Nissan, and Mitsubishi EVs are all made in Japan. Japan's newest submarine (Taigei class) also Adopt and equpped lithium batteries (GS-Yuasa). An EV spontaneously combusted and caught fire at an Audi dealer's garage, destroying eight vehicles. Since it was an Audi, I assume the batteries were made in Korea.
You don't need them. There are far more fires from petrol and diesel cars. Look at the reports of the Luton Airport fire. There is cctv footage of the car catching fire. The rumours all said it was an EV, but the cctv proved that it was a petrol/diesel, as the model concerned didn't have an EV model.
