See for first year a laptop is quite necessary It doesn’t have to expensive but it has to be equipped with adobe softwares(photoshop,illustrator,inDesign) etc

hey i am also a doing ba hons in English. and I'll be joining nift in a month. you can sit for the exam in the coming session that is 2022-23. you need to be 23 or under, for undergraduate courses . you can easily apply.
If you’re really interested in this field …you should go for it There are a lot of people your age in the first year…however research about it and be sure about choosing design

Math that you studied in 10th grade would be useful…basic algebra…profit and loss, compound interest and simple interest , distance and time …basics like that …we’ll soon be uploading a video explaining this

Research more about it…doing a master’s course in your field would help you more…engineering and NIFT don’t go well together…NIFT does offer fashion management courses if you’re interested

I would suggest a laptop…and TD is a good course too since you can get into prints and fabrics…it’s the base for FD as well There’s quite a lot of scope You can also launch your own label Plus there’s government jobs available too So there’s alot of scope in general in design

We don’t know much about the NIFT Delhi hostel but we will let you know…I would suggest you to stay in the hostel atleast for the first year
