Greg is such a good sport and a surprisingly compassionate person towards Tommy and many, which is rare in the industry. I honestly feel bad for Tommy and do hope that he always improves. Conveying a story believably, regardless if its physical, vocal, or both, can be incredibly difficult and even some good performers have been guilty of bad performances, even if their fans heatedly and often immaturely debate over it. I hope Greg continues to find projects that he enjoys and always improves in it. God bless!
If he had that much money and was serious about his artistic vision. He should have hired some screenwriters as consultants. And he should have hired an actor to play him.
Instead he argued against any changes to his script that he was convinced was "genius." And he played himself and wrote himself gratuitous, disgusting love scenes. He's a slime ball.
I have so much respect for Greg. He is so great at answering questions and giving us the audience so much insight. What a wonderful interview.
@@ChrisVanVliet you are a fantastic interviewer- great questions and allowed Greg to flow and give us what we wanted. Great job!!
It was not a good interview actually. The interviewer asked the same old questions, which Greg answered a million times before. The interviewer should've asked him questions about his life immediately after making the Room and get to know him a better. What did Greg do with the money Tommy gave him? Did Greg apply for more auditions. It seems a bit of a mystery what he did immediately after. He only resurfaced after The Room got huge.
Great to still see Mark with a football haha. Wow 20 yrs already. Good times.
This has gotta be one of my favorite interviews you’ve done. The Room has a really special place in my heart, and Greg has one of the most interesting stories in all of entertainment.
This is unrelated but holy shit this guy has hardly aged at all since the Room 20 years ago!!
yeah wait wtf hahahahah how have i never considered this? he genuinely looks exactly the same
There’s no doubt that Greg and Tommy are the best pair to ever make a movie so bad that it’s good. I’m glad they made the movie and still doing films to this day.
Greg is such an interesting dude, not just bc of the room lore, but his own acting journey.
It's nice to see you branch out from wrestling interviews. I hope you do more of it.
he actually started from interviewing movie celebrities. then gone into wrestling stuff, and now seems like he is again back in the roots
Greg and Tommy are great dudes. Am between 20-30 times viewed on "The Room". Saw it live in London with both of them, what a story!
I gotta say CVV, I didn't see this coming. I don't use this phrase often but I'll say it now: this is a real treat.
This video is like an Easter Egg.
Good call!
Greg has either been interviewed too many times or he is just the best person to interview cause his answers are just excelent
This is cool. Greg seems like a nice guy and he looks he’s doing really well. Good vibes
Such an interesting interview. There aren't too many screenings in Belgium (where I live), but a student group once made a Dutch theatre version of The Room and it was amazing. One aspect of that version: there wasn't one actor playing Johnny, but all actors had their own role and also took turns putting on a black wig and doing a weird accent. That in itself is comedy, but each actor took both their roles seriously, making it land in the perfect spot between love and satire where The Room shines.
I really wish Greg got more roles .. he is so charming, I could listen to him talk for hours❤
Awesome interview, just went for a live screening with Greg was such a great show with his comments
What an interview, Mark.
Of more interviewers loved each other the world would be a better place
I am friends with the actor who played Denny. Took improv classes from his brother.
*Oh hi, CVV!*
Wasn't expecting to see anything related to The Room on your channel, dude. Nice surprise. Interesting interview
yay! i love greg and tommy and the whole world of the room! i found out about it about a year before the disaster artist came out and in the meantime i got all friends into it!
I love the Greg is holding onto the football while giving the interview
I have listened to the audiobook 6 X and will listen again. The most honest memoir ever
I have seen it over 30 times....love it. Just watched the Celebration last night at the theater. The whole crowd of all ages and all walks of life were united in a wonderful hilarious human experience.
52:00 this whole part right here, speaks to me, I can relate to it 100%
Oh hi Mark !!
What a wonderful interview. Thank you.
Who would have ever thought it possible that a feature length film could be *both* complete garbage and an absolutely brilliant masterpiece at the same time? It really should have won multiple Oscars, because it achieved something that shouldn't even be possible. Who else but Tommy Wiseau could have possibly pulled that off? It's quite possibly the weirdest, most absurd work of art of all time.
Heard this podcast and now the video!! Woo hoo
I literally have a blu ray of this movie at home signed by Greg Sestero himself at a film event I went to this year🤣
What a great interview! Greg is such an interesting person. Fascinating story. I want to watch The Disaster Artist now.
Ill be seeking the book. Sounds like an amazing and strange time
Oh hi Chris! I love that interview ❤️
He needs too reach out too Macaulay Caukin, and make that movie now. Make it a dark comedy action film.
Greg is such a cool guy
I've watched the room 5 times in 2 days. Best movie I've ever seen in my life
Great talk.
Awesome interview! Keep it up!!!
Greg should release the outtakes!
Forbidden sky sounds amazıng as a title
It seems to me like you're the expert, Mark!
I’m mostly excited to see someone other than my grandma with the last name Van Vliet!
Haha what a story Mark!
I have actually seen him in person. He was traveling with his film "Best F(r)iends".
The Room is a great film. I love every minute of it and this was a great interview.
The Room will be talked about for the rest of eternity. Most filmmakers can't make that claim.
Greg's tommy impression is really good.
I love that Greg was willing to hold that football for the full hour.
This is awesome
I keep forgetting Chris also does movie interviews and not just wrestling
You're tearing me apart Lisa!
What a video,Mark
Oh, Hi Chris
If you haven't seen Buck Breaking it's the modern day version of The Room as far as accidental comedy.
The world needs a UFO movie starring Tommy and Greg!
Love the book
I think Greg is cool. He saw this weird, unusual character and saw the interesting side of him. I've met people like tommy. Other peopel think they are just weird or annoying. I always make sure to appreciate peoples quirks. It makes life interesting.
I just can't take my eyes off of you 😍
“Ha ha ha what a shtory mark” “woooow u look so sexy lisa” “enything fo my princeeess ha ha ha” are my favorite room quotes to take the stress off
Greg seems like a good dude
I was going to post some stupid comment, but then I decided to just leave it in my pocket.
The Room is better than anything Hollyweird is making today.
Oh hi Mark
Haha, nice interview Chris, anyway how's your sex life?
28:00: This would've been a better script than what actually happened, while there is much I like about Lost in New York, a second kid with Kevin would've been nice for a bounce off...and that's a far more logical place for The Wet Bandits to end up.
He hit her, Mark! 😮
Love the football lol
I’m confused why Greg’s mom said suddenly, no sex? 10:30
The book details how Tommy was taking Greg out, wining and dining him. Gregs mother thought Tommy was an older gay man who was preying on her son. So when Tommy arrived to take Greg to the apartment, the mother actually came out to meet him and ask him to 'please not to have sex with her son'. I urge you to read the book. The movie they made is not a patch on it
Beat friends was actually great
It seems to me you're an expert, Mark.
Lisa your tearing me apart
Oh hai mark
It would be even better if Chris wore pants.
Oh hi... MARK?!
What's new with you?
10:20 well we all do
Mark
Wow, the Disaster Artist movie took a lot of liberties.
What makes you say that lmaoo
The Botox is real.
So six lmaoo
It’s an awful movie to watch on your own but a hilarious movie to watch with an audience. But let’s be real, it’s bad
Sorry... the room >>>>> disaster artist 😂
Anyway how is your sx life?
sorry no lav mics. sry
Wasn’t his actor career doomed by The Room?

Please don't do the Tommy Wiseau accent or impression. It doesn't work. Plus, you've asked him questions that have been asked a million times.
What’s this train wreck of a movie you guys are referencing? An who the hell is Tommy?
It's The Room by Tommy Wiseau. Gather some friends and watch it asap (it's on UA-cam).
It’s called the room, and when I tell you that it is an experience… I am not lying. Definitely watch it.
i am glad the room exists. their job is done
Oh hi, Mark!
Oh hi, Chris!
lol before i watched this, i wanted to see how many people where going to say this in the comment section.
Imagine Tommy Wiseau in wrestling.
"Oh, hi..... MARKS!"
Great interview.
@@Adyman182 and after they complain or share their opinion, he'd say "What a story, Marks!" and laugh.
