This is literally the way she has sung it since about 2009. She’s opted for lower notes because she said she prefers them in this song. If you’re feeling like it’s a bit harder for her to hit the notes here, she did have appendix surgery about two weeks before this. That requires you to have a tube down your throat during surgery which can make your voice hoarse for a few weeks.
