My beloved condenser, finally covered on the best audio channel! Fantastic. I love the sound of the SC400, it's warm, not overly bright but definitely the top-end is enough so it's not muffled either.
For Europe it is a fantastic offering, as we have trouble getting things like Worker Bee here for reasonable price, so Thomann stuff makes it a bit better and easier to get a good quality audio for low price.

Hidden gems (and weird old mics) is what this channel is all about.

    HAHAHAHAHA!!! The hat made it!!!
So those caps could very well be dictating the roll off on the top end. MOD OPPORTUNITY! Customize this and the ON-STAGE to what you want!
That mic sounds great man! I just got a tbone ribbon...(RB-100). It was interesting, but not in a good way, but this thing freakin rocks!!! Lookin forward to friday!

What is the Best usb mic for 50 or so for my live streams! I use expensive xlr mics usually. But need a cheap usb for my ps5 gameplay where I don’t use obs!

Thanks so much for the PCB XCU. Now I won't need to bug you offline. I just ran to the studio so I could compare those boards to mics I have, but the mics I wanted to look at are out on loan. It will have to wait. Sounds good. peace

I have two of the SC-450's, the step up from this one. Fantastic sounding mics, though they do have some prevalent resonance issues/microphonics. Not really audible in practice though

Replaced my 450 with a second hand King Bee V1.
I prefer the sound of the King Bee but the 450 was very very good for the money.

If they had an American distributor, it would be terrific. That $4o shipping is a handicap that makes it compete in the $75-$100 bracket just kills it.

Dont know much about mics, so that's why I am here. Looking for a mic for basically delivering workshops on Zoom and a times using it for discord and stream. I have a behringer UMC22 so would like to use it with a XLR mic.
