In this video, I unlocked the "worst" achievement in Wolfenstein so you don't have to. This is the 'Uber Hero' achievement. It's hard, so if you're struggling to get it then this video is for you!

Did you know to get the uber achievement you just have to beat the last boss on uber but not the rest of the game
I challenge you to play "return to castle wolfenstein" on the hardest difficulty
It should mean overhero so yeah in German this means Überheld
You can get this achievement using 999 mode.
It was really fun
in his 9 years of being trapped in his own body, the reason why he doesn't lose any muscle mass or develop muscle atrophy is because he exercised by imagining killing nazis every moment
and when an actual nazis show up, he finally showed him what he's been honing for

Fun Fact: You can earn this achievement by playing through the game on any difficulty and then replaying the last mission on ÜBER.

I saved Wyatt the first playthrough as well. My reasons were exactly the reasons that fergus gave me in the next playthrough as to why I should’ve saved Wyatt.
This game did a great job of making it clear that there was no right choice, that you were wrong no matter what because this was just an exercise in sadism on deaths head’s part, and that both would be critical to the resistance for different reasons.

As someone who speedruns Uber Glitchless% I know the pain on certain levels. There are a few game mechanics that makes speedrunning it both easier/more cancerous, for example there are certain sections where if you run to the next room without killing everyone less enemies will spawn, BUT if you die you have to fight like double the enemies basically killing your run.
I remember playing through most of the Wolfenstein games and I played like on an easy difficulty, every single game was pretty easy and then the final boss felt abnormally hard compared to the rest of the game
I got the achievement at my first play through of the game because I said to myself “I wanted a challenge”. Man this achievement made me wanna see god even faster than before

I genuinely loved every second of Uber difficulty. The absolute Sh!t show of repeating the same section countless times. Unlike CODs version of "Realism/Veteran", Wolfenstein gives you so many opportunities to use different weapons or hidden lanes throughout each mission. Even after falling victim to the same Heavy Robot/ far off- distant Drohnen, I didn't feel like I was failing due to the enemies being incredibly accurate. Uber forces you to take your time but make calculated sprints throughout each firefight. I realized pretty quickly I had to abuse the leaning mechanic. Deathshead second phase felt amazing after completion, and I had no clue the armory was underneath! I'm glad you were able to finish it.
And by using lean it's actually satisfying intense or more?

honestly playing through this in "hard" was hard enough at 30 fps. i tried uncapping the fps and found out the hard way that just like many other old games, a lot of the physics and enemies in the game are tied directly to framerate, so anything above 30 and you'll be running through literal walls of bullets
I've replayed the whole game on Über, then played the final chapter two more times (which supposedly is actually the only requirement to get the achievement) and nothing.
Didn't even get the Super Hero achievement, which was very frustating.
6:46 people need to know you can instantly kill the 2nd one by pressing the button inside the truck the robot was sitting in
Deflective bullet guys are really a menace to the point that its unfair. I usually loot the big guns from the mecs and smash them with it
Fun fact: The original Doom used the engine made for Wolfenstein 3D (meaning that Wolfenstein *actually* pioneered the FPS genre)

I personally think that the hardest part in Wolfi new order is getting the perk where you have to kill 10 na*is in 5 Seconds with a detached mg it litteraly took me 3 or 4 years to finally achive it
I have obtained the trophy for beating Wolfenstien 2 and all i can tell you is ...
The i am death incarnate difficulty of Wolfenstien 2 is much harder than uber difficulty in wolfenstien the new order so imagine trying to beat the entirety of the new order in one attempt without dying but you take even more damage than you would in uber difficulty and there are more enemies and the campaign is even longer, it is far closer to realism difficulty in a call of duty game except you dont regenerate health like you do in COD.
Wolfenstien 2 on mein lieben is by far the hardest achievement ive ever done and ever will do so to anyone who loves a good challenge i would definitely recommend it. It would definitely be entertaining watching you attempt this beast of an achievement. I would be happy to provide any help because i sure needed it.

Btw you get 3 achievements if you complete uber.
You know there are health upgrades in the game that increase your max HP by 10 for every one you get right? you can get three just by sleeping in the safe house when you're there between missions and there are a few others in missions, if you get them all you're max HP goes to like 200
I always stunned the robots with a grenade, ran to their back and unloaded into them with a shotgun on their power supply.
I have found ways of making my über run more easy and pretty fun when i done it, for example I've found out you can select the first chapter in the chapters option to start the über run which doesn't reset your health, armour and laserkraftwerk upgrades and you keep all your perks unlike the new game option which means you can collect these on an easier difficulty and then play on über with all the upgrades already received.
BTW do try playing the new colossus which is true über suffering, the stealth in that is way more difficult personally and playing passively does not work so well.
"My guy has created robot dogs, 10ft tall mechs, but still can't come up with a solution for hair regrowth" To be fair, irl the Nazi's sucked with genetic experiments and tended to kill more than create or perfect.

I agree that London catacombs is not a fun level and the prison level is a very fun kevel.
This checkpoints remind me of my first stalker playthrough. I never saved the game and then on the way to Pripyat i was heavily injured, crossed a autosave point and wasnt able to complete the game, because Strelok was bleeding out and I had no bandages or medkits left.
After beating doom eternal and all it’s dlcs plus horde mode all on nightmare difficulty, beating this on Uber and old blood was a nice break.
This game wouldn't be so hard if BJ didn't keep leaving behind his silenced pistol after every level transition! The silenced pistol makes stealth practical in this FPS game which has no darkness nor camouflage mechanics as you just have to be able to see their head and ^plink^ headshot, most of the level can have large sections of it completed with stealth.
I actually played this whole game on the hardest mode as well, wasn't actually that bad. It wasn't until a month later that I found out you could just replay the last mission on the hardest mode to get the achievement, but I moved on

I just found your channel this is great and all the jokes regarding the story and what’s going on makes it very entertaining.
I suck at videogames and some parts were frustrating but honestly doing this wasn't extremely difficult, just a bit annoying sometimes until I found out how to take advantage of the mediocre AI.
Having beaten all of the mainline reboot games on Ubër or IADI on Wolf 2, I'd argue the New Order and Old Blood weren't overly difficult.
New Colossus however, was way worse given BJ was about as strong as a schoolboy's iPhone 4 and the enemies absolutely blitzed anything that moved. The Panzerhund sections were horrible given that all damage was hitscan.
Somehow, I did this on all 3 games. Yet I can't even beat the 2nd Elden Ring boss 🤣

Yeah I figured out that by playing just the last mission on Uber difficulty it counts as the achievement.
But that way is only for those with a lack of manhood … or 3 months of their time energy and sanity to spare.
If anybody finds shooters really tough like me, you can do this on 999 mode you unlock from the enigma codes. You have to play from the start but 999 mode is absolutely p!SS easy.... It's automatically set on Uber but with 999 health. The health slowly declines but if you die you start again from the checkpoint with 999 again!! Its easy peasy Then
Those heavy troops with shrapnel shotguns are the most dangerous enemies in the whole game. Even the final boss doesn't compare to these fuckers 😭. Also, dual wielding and heavy weapons are basically death traps in 1vX encounters 😂
16:10 i had to restart the level the first time because i didnt know the spaceship falling was timer based and had no ammo, i only did it on death incarnate and i could not do it again on uber, it is not worth it.
Play the game one time over. Spend time collecting health upgrades and work on those perk upgrades, makes über way easier and you feel more over powering. Also the perk that makes grenades explode on contact is a godsent

Recently bought it again on ps3 to platinum it and i was suprised how i almost got all the trophies first an easy way to kill deathshead quickly is just save gernades for the assault rifle and dual wield them can get him in 1 to 2 reloads

I just completed the game yesterday on über and man it was easy af. The game literally let's you hide everywhere on the map almost all the time and you only die if you mess up. Even the last bossfight was a cakewalk with the right tactics and you don't even have to be a good player. I remember this game being much harder years ago even on the medium difficulty but now I think über is necessary to have a good time. Same for the Metro games. Play it on the hardest possible difficulty and it becomes so incredibly immersive you really feel like you're in nuclear russia.

To be honest I didn’t think Uber was that bad but I also played through it multipule times.
*I was actually able to cheat the Uber trophy by selecting the last chapter after beating the game and selecting Uber.*

I don't want to be that guy but this game is easily a 3/10 difficulty, in Uber you just need to be patient and stay stealth in most of the times, and there's also plenty of cheeses you can do like in the last boss fight you can stay behind a staircase and the boss will not shoot at you, anyways loved the video

Yeah I beat every single Wolfenstein on Über difficulty and it sucked. Fortunately I only flipped my chair and yelled a couple times, no controller smashing or nothing. But I do have to say that the challenge is fun. I’m going to beat all the games on Über again. I’m currently on the new colossus.

I remember playing this game and dying so many times on my 1st playthrough, then playing my 2nd playthrough and I barely died. Until I got to wolfenstein 2, it was a little bit easier until I got to venus, were my sanity was declining at a rapid pace
I've always wondered what the Über difficulty brought to the table, it never said anything about changes from "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty.
It's harder on wolfenstein 2 the new America.

Tbh the old blood and the new order are both pretty easy games you can play through on a single day on über. But fuck me i will never even attempt the Mein Leben Challenge on the new colossus.
Id say that the Fergus timeline is better for über since the extra health you get instead of extra shield on pickup
I played through the whole ge on the über difficulty, I reached the end and the achievmemt bugged, I then had to play through again. It was pure TORTURE
eh i did this recently and it really wasn't that bad, most of the game you can just stealth through and you can max out all the perks in other playthroughs first as well.
Everyone thinks this game is a fast paced game like doom, and I mean it kinda is sure but even on easy, the time to kill is so fast for your character

I got this achievement first playthrough. It was painful, very painful, but honestly I think playing FPS games on their hardest difficulty is how they were intended to be played. Like Halo.

I played on Über as my first playthrough (in all Wolfenstein games) because the difficulty selection screen makes you feel like a bitch if you don’t. I will never try Mein Leben mode again though lol..
It was my first platinum trophy so its my favorite wolfenstien game
This achievement was easy as crap compared to other achievements that require hardest difficulty. No where near as hard as Akuma on either "The Evil Within" games

This achievement is nothing compared to mein leben in wolfenstein 2. But with a ton of practice and following a very specific route and speedrun strats I managed to beat it over 10 times and even uploaded a video showing me dying to general engel for the lulz.
Try getting the mein leben trophy on Wolfenstein 2, thats the real definition of torture

You should try Wolfenstein The New Colossus' "Mein Leben" difficulty. It made "uber" difficulty feels like a walk in a park.
