It's not like Toji suddenly remembered Megumi out of nowhere. Megumi means blessing in Japanese that's why in that moment he remembered him while talking about how these "blessed" sorcerers just lost to him.
That's a good point but it's still amusing to me that he remembers his son in that moment of all timings. Nothing against it, ofc.

@@melwinthomas4382that worm curse that hangs over Toji's shoulder to store his cursed tools is the same worm that crawled up to Geto at the end of this episode. It was also in the movie/manga Jujutsu Kaisen 0 where Geto uses it to take out the red three-staffed cursed tool "Playful Cloud." Fun fact: that same cursed tool is in season 1 of JJK and used by Maki, Megumi, and Todo when they fought against Hanami, the nature cursed spirit!

It’s crazy how Gojo got Toji’s “blessings” ie Megumi while Geto inherited Toji’s “curse” or the curse spirit from Volume 0 kinda foreshadows their future a little bit

For anyone still confused about Gojo's strange demeanour. simply put, he was in a state of absolute euphoria. Essentially, conquering what should have been death as well as figuring out one of the most difficult as well as most powerful techniques, being reversed cursed technique is quite the experience. Especially for Gojo who had been practically untouchable up to that point (I can't remember anything to deny this but if memory serves me correctly, Gojo had never lost a fight prior to Toji). Just try to put yourself in his shoes:
You experience your first loss in a battle, are on the brink of death, manage to subconsciously decipher one of the most intricate cursed techniques, which can also be applied to your existing limitless technique to amplify and strengthen it. Essentially, the strongest sorcerer just became significantly more powerful. Also combining that with Gojo's care free and entitled nature, you get a man who now believes that he is "alone the honoured one in the heavens and Earth" (I know I scuffed the quote but you get the idea).
I didn't take the time to explain it properly but I hope this helped understand. I personally have also experienced something to similar to Gojo's moment of euphoria, where everything seems beautiful and centred around you. It's a pretty complex emotion which is quite rare to experience.
It's the sort of euphoric feeling when something just clicks into place perfectly and you finally understand how to do something you have no clue how to do before even though you tried so hard, this feeling is amplified by him literally coming back from the brink of death and healing his brain, that's why he's so euphoric. Also the reverse cursed technique is not a cursed technique in the same way that Gojo's Limitless or Megumi's Ten Shadows is, it's just a method by which to generate positive energy from cursed energy in order to heal one's self, any sorcerer can technically learn it (though it is extremely difficult to achieve very few sorcerers actually know how to do it) so it isn't like a cursed technique where you have to be born with it or have it engraved in your brain/body to use it.
Nah. Its just reverse curse technique chips away a neuron that comes from a brain so he feels the euphoria. He needs to eat sweets to stimulate his brain in order to not becoming crazy and ended up as a sweet tooth.

@@Dell-ol6hb This is why I really want them to show some training montage of people trying to learn it. We can assume that sorcerers are trying to learn it while training but a confirmation will be nice. Otherwise it's just dumb seeing 99℅ of sorcerers not even question/care about reverse cursed energy as healing is always valuable. Unlike CTs, technically anyone can learn them so seeing some characters try to train and learn and fail would be good.
@@valhallakombi7239 It's probably because it's such an abstract concept there's really no way to show sorcerers training to use it, the closest we got was Gojo trying to use Red but failing because he cannot perform the reversed cursed technique. Also even though any sorcerer can theoretically learn it, it is so rare for a reason, it is extremely difficult to learn because it is either something you get or don't get, there's no gradually learning it. That's why having a training scene kinda makes no sense for it because it's not something you can really train to achieve. Also idk what you mean about sorcerers not caring?
Toji's one of the best characters, whoever hate him doesn't really understand this manga/anime. People like him and Gojo are the real deal.

Dude, the people on this video are watching this stuff for the first time. All they know about Toji is that he's an assassin that abandoned his son (by the looks of it) and killed a kid. You can't expect them to like that guy right of the bat, even if there's more depth to him because they don't know about it.

I understand that most people think that every injury on brain is fatal. That is true enough. No mistake on that. In reality, most people die from head injury due to the compression effect from the accumulation of bleeding inside the skull space as well as low blood supply to important brain parts. That is why immediate neurosurgical intervention can save life. Just remove the blood clots and close off the bleeding vessels before the compression effect takes place. Most of the case, the neurosurgeon removes part of the skull bone to allow the swelling to go outside of the skull, hence preventing the compression effect inside of the skull. That is why, Time is the enemy of all neurosurgeons.
Another point to make is, not all of brain parts are vital for life. Different parts of the brain control different parts of the body. The most important part is at above the nape, which is cerebellum that control the heart, lungs, etc. That is why, brain dead patient can still alive to some extension before the cardiac death takes place after the remaining part of the brain can't control the normal body regulation anymore. Patient with brain tumor can still be alive and well after the brain tumor is removed. And neurosurgeon doesn't just remove the tumor. They will remove some of the brain that surround the tumor, to make sure they don't miss any tiny tumor that naked eyes can't see.
In Gojo case, the stab is at left frontal area. Frontal areas are responsible for voluntary movement, expressive language and for managing higher level executive thinking. If all his frontal parts are damaged, then he can't heal himself because RCT requires high level of focus. In his case, he was stabbed at the left side. Assuming he managed to start the RCT successfully just right after the stab, before the bleeding inside the brain started to accumulate and causing the compression effect, it is possible that he can still think and heal the rest of his injuries since his right frontal brain is still intact.

It's not even really plot armor that's just how OP RCT is, they will explain in more detail later on but sorcerers that know how to perform RCT are way way harder to kill and are usually a whole different breed in terms of power compared to the average sorcerer, basically only the 4 special grades and a couple other sorcerers near that level even know how to do RCT.

@@silksonic3927 Gojo was born with the burden of carrying the people on his back, he is expected to be perfect. He was raised as a golden child, that's why he has god complex. When he met geto, his life turned upside down. He finally met a person who treats him like he is normal, that's why he is so attached to him. So when he lost him, he made a promise that he won't let his student feel alone like he did. To you he might look like an irritating character, but you cannot deny that he is relevant for the plot. He raised some strong-ass students, and that was the best thing he did.

I'm going to rant a bit so sorry advance (about just general viewers/fans of JJK, not the show itself), and this rant is not based on the reactions in this mashup, I haven't watched it yet, though I needed to vent as I keep seeing this happen.
So I'm sure that we can all agree that JJK in all of its world building, characters and power system requires quite a bit of comprehension skills in order to completely obtain an understanding of what is happening. This is an element of JJK which I personally love. However, what pisses me off is when viewers don't completely understand what his happening, decide to make assumptions, which then turns into criticisms. Many people were calling many plot points in this episode 'ass pulls', such as Toji sparing Geto's life and Gojo essentially reviving himself. This is worsened by the 'crowd mentality' of a lot of viewers, where the second they hear a criticism on an anime, they immediately take it as fact.
Aspects such as reverse cursed technique, positive and negative cursed energy, Heavenly Pact and so on are all mechanics of JJK which have always been within the story, not just "plot armour" inserted by Akutami-sensei.

So he got like a 10 inch gaping hole in his brain, before getting smashed to the ground. But still can perform a healing technique afterwards. New level of suspension of disbelief unlocked.
It was not a 10 inch hole, it was much smaller than that. This is the first real example in the anime for how op RCT can be, it will become a much bigger deal as the story progresses, that's why when you kill a jujutsu sorcerer you have to do it using cursed energy and if they know RCT you have to destroy their brain or they can regenerate as Gojo himself tells Toji. Toji's mistake was using a normal knife and not cutting off his head, though it's not like he could've predicted this happening but what he did was bad practice anyway for facing a sorcerer. This isn't really any different than Mahito figuring out how to pull off a Domain Expansion as he was on the verge of death or Sukuna bringing Yuji back to life hours after he "died".
@@Dell-ol6hb Sure looks like a 10 inch knife in last episode to me. Mahito wasn't a human, so idk how his physiology works. I thought sorcerers are still human, meaning they need an intact brain to command yourself to perform any technique, or anything at all. Or maybe they don't need one now idk anymore.
No its not, CE is strongest at the momment of Death, being close to Death is basicly the best means of a power up in this series. Gojo unlockec RCT only by being an inch from death. It is not BS.

Gojo couldn't care about wiping out everyone because young Gojo didn't care about it. Geto is the man of reason. Just like ep 1, he still believes Jujutsu sorcerers need to maintain discipline, etc. But we have to wait for next ep to see how amanai death and Gojo awakening changes his mindset.
That last scene of "reason is important" seems to be him desperately holding onto his values one last time. He probably wanted to kill everyone for Amanai but knows his responsibilities as sorcerer and held back.
gojo asked to kill them because they were celebrating riko's death. we see earlier that gojo geto were ready to protect riko if she had rejected merger/assimilation. gojo felt bad about riko's death so he thought of killing those who were happy about her death. gojo was not in his right state of mind (like he says "the way i am right now i wouldn't feel anything about killing them") thats why he asks geto whether to kill them or not, because he trusted geto's judgement. geto refuses to kill saying there's no /meaning/ in killing these people who are common believers and the main higher ups of star religious group must've already fled so killing these people have no meaning. geto emphasis how 'meaning in killing' is really important for jujutsu sorcerers. we have seen from begining how geto is a guy with higher moral ground, he believes in reason and responsibilities and greater good. but here you can see geto's eyes shaking when he explains why killing these have no meanings, it must indicate his wavering moral compass. he also feels really bad about riko's death but he tries best to hold his morals here

Toji Killing Riko, The Time Vessel Association clapping about Riko's death, Haibara's Death, and Mimiko and Nanako getting abused by the village. The Time Vessel Association really fucked him up, it made him think "Am I really exorcising curse spirits for people like THIS in the world?".

Look I love JJK to death and have absorbed most everything about it. In all honesty, JJK requires a lot of comprehension skills and attention to detail with everything being mentioned. The short answer to your question is that he was in a state called euphoria.

@@FiFilzen yes, and euphoria is a result of that. Euphoria is just the closes emotional term I could find the describe why he was acting that way. Kind of like figuring out an extremely difficult question that's been on your mind for years. You wouldn't simply go "oh, cool, now I know". Or at least, that would be a normal person's reaction. However Gojo is not normal, clearly
Guys I just figured something! In JJK 0 They revealed Geto as someone outlawed cause he killed 100 normal people. I think this is the scene! He holds on to his reason and morals at the end of this episode but next episode he kills them anyway! These are the 100 normal people he kills!
Sorry to break it to you but Geto doesn't kill them. Just watch the next ep when it's out and you'll learn about that incident

Can someone plz explain what happened at the end, what happened to that toji curse? Why the people were applauding? How gojo got there ? Why gojo asked geto to kill them? Plz someone explain

2. The people were with the religious group, they were happy over Riko's death
4. Gojo felt pissed over those brainless people, that's why he wanted to kill them to stop further spreading of the group
3. Had Toji cut off Gojo's head, he would be dead since Reverse Cursed Technique generates from the brain; on the verge of death Gojo learnt, with the help of six eyes, the essence of curse, then he used RCT to heal himself and went to Toji
Toji's curse can be seen in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Geto keeps it (but not seen anymore after that)

2. those people are the followers of star religious group, the group which worshipes tengen in 'pure' form and hired toji to kill riko. they are celebrating/applauding riko's death

Toji should not have died like this Jujutsu has amazing story telling and good detailed explanations but Gojo killing Toji is stupid, yes purple is broken it would kill anyone if they get hit but Toji is legit superhuman because of the pact so why didn’t he dodge purple we know how fast he is, dude was basically flash stepping, and Gojo can now dodge Toji easily after struggling earlier from Toji’s speed, if Gojo had a training arc to get faster and learn to fight close combat than I would believe it but Toji just stood there, the writing on that was bad.
In the manga, it seemed like it was instantaneous when he dropped the purple. They probably animated in slow-mo on purpose for the anime-viewers. But I'm pretty sure it was fast af. And I assume because he's super euphoric, his Six-Eyes must be on ultra timing to be able to dodge his attacks.

Anyone else mildly disappointed that Gojo's offense is essentially energy blasts? Its powerful and all but its so uncool lmao. He can purple kill everyone in the universe. They have to make up stuff like Miguel's ropes to have fanservice hand to hand combat with him. So glad Yuji is the mc for higher stakes and raw physical fights. I love everything about Gojo from his character and defrnse but his offense is so uncool

@@resonanceamplitude I understand the specifics and how his power works. But red, blue and purple are all essentially the same. Both repel and attract do the same thing to curses and humans (destroy). Purple is also again just a destructive ball. Its very unengaging coz Gojo can flick these energy balls and kill everyone. I would have preferred some type of more physical offense.
His infinity defense and infinite void are super cool imo, just the offensive CTs. Just a matter of preference. Visually there is very little difference between red, blue, purple. All three are just destructive balls.
