Jane's pops waling in thhe crib was such a messed up scene. Walter Jr's croooed funding was triggering Walter because every time that bell rang whhen they got a donation, it reminded him of Hector "Tio" Salamanca's wheelchair bell.
ABSOLUTELY AGREE! Especially about it being one of the most stressful jobs in THE WORLD! Every job gives you at least one week bereavement for loss of an immediate family member, but with the loss of a child you can probably get approved for medical leave for mental health.
yo, rewatching with y'alls gives me such a better appreciation of Hank. At first he seems like such a goofball but he's so fuckin good man. He knows when the shit doesn't add up.
Our guy Hank!!! We believe he is a pivotal character within this show. He can get lost in the show because so much things going on with Walt and Jesse but he’s amazing!
@@DanielZealRe-watching this a decade OLDER, you realize how none of these situations are black and white; I personally see the flaws in them reflected back to me, and it gives me the ability to give some of them grace. I can only hope I carry this over into my real life.
3:35 - "NTSB" stands for National Transportation & Safety Board. They investigate airline accidents. In knew it was a plane crash the moment I saw the letters on the truck
15:24. I never noticed before but this transition is symbolic of Walt's ego, his God complex. Essentially taking Jane's life, bringing his daughter into this world. 26:37. This scene symbolizes how Walt's house of cards is about to come crashing down all around him, and is also symbolic for how future events will unfold in his life. Note the color of his sweater and the color of the bear.
I watch alot of reaction videos. The one thing that makes me continue watching is people being genuine. You two are very genuine and honest with your reactions. Dont change a thing. You give out good vibes. Loved your silence of the lamb video as well. A huge request for me would be that you watched the movie Sling blade if you havent already seen it. Im positive that would make for great content.
Appreciate that more than you know! Thank you for the support, we’ll take a look at that and if we can get that on the schedule we will. We are jammed with content for the next coming weeks!!👏🏾👏🏾
And then there is the spin-off Better Call Saul to look forward to after El Camino, (or I think maybe El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019), came out after Better Call Saul (2015 -2022) started its' seasons). Lots more to watch after Breaking Bad, for sure!
Jessie did get Jane back into meth, but it was Jane that got Jessie into heroine, they were BOTH bad for each other. And Walt made sure Jane died, if he wasnt there she wouldnt have choked to death, she only turned on her back because he shook Jessie. And out of shock Jessie went to a drug den and got high on more shit, i dont think hes the one that fed drugs to the people there
They were definitely both bad for each other I (Sheim) can agree with that. One of them would have eventually overdosed or something would have happened sadly. Season 3 will be one for the books!
Most of the characters in this series have times when you hate them and times when you empathize with them. Mostly, you see their weaknesses and you see their strengths.
Watching this series again with all of you, I'm thinking again Jesse might be in his early 20s, but he didn't have much (or any) experience with relationships. Since this is _Breaking Bad_, his first love is of course going to be as disastrous as imaginable. re: everyone being too close to each other, I think that's kind of the genius of setting it in Albuquerque, instead of LA or NY or Houston or wherever. It feels totally plausible that in a city that side, these kinds of chance encounters keep tripping our characters up.
FYI: Gus knew everything there was to know about Walt before he even agreed to meet with him that first time at Pollos Hermanos restaurant. In season 1, Walt spotted someone watching his house. We don't know who this was but we do know it wasn't Tuco. While the producers of show didn't plan this that early, it makes perfect sense that it was one of Gus' men surveilling Walt and gathering intel on him.
Saul isn’t funneling any money to the son’s website. 😂 It’s all real donations from around the country who are moved to contribute to Walter White’s benefit.
Jane was responsible for her own choices…she chose to use drugs. You can’t externalize the responsibility when it comes to addiction, because an addict can always find a reason to use or someone to blame for relapse.
AND JUST LIKE THAT.....Walt didn't just let Jane die - he (by extension) caused the deaths of TWO AIRPLANES worth of innocent people. WAY TO GO WALT! 🖕 And now comes Season 3! BUCKLE UP CAUSE IT GETS ABSOLUTELY W.I.L.D. FROM HERE ON OUT!!! 😂
All is that is definitely on Walt, no matter how he looks at it. He caused that grief for Jane’s Dad and that led to that plane accident…. I (Sheim) actually can say Walt and Jesse have fault in this so now onto Season 3! Let’s see how crazy it gets👨🔬
Y’all acting like Walt put the needle in her arm, damn. She tried to blackmail him and was obviously trying to take advantage of Jessie’s $$$ situation. Not saying she deserved to die for that, but the alternative for Walt could possibly be for him to go to prison with cancer, which is also a death sentence, and never see his family again.. If she decided to give the DEA info on him.
Yeah we understand that she was acting crazy and was basically blackmailing him. But that was Jesse’s half that was owed to him and we are looking at it from a moral standpoint like we couldn’t just sit there and let that happen. It was a great outcome for Walt for sure but it was just crazy to watch.
at the end of during the recap you were talking about saul quite a bit, are you guys planning on watching better call saul? Its FIRE and without spoiling anything, I ended up preferring it to BB
7:36 I'm sorry, but when you threaten someone that you know is doing drug deals in the value of over $1 million, then you get what you deserve. That may make me sound heartless, but that's how the drug game is. 14:13 No, JANE DID THAT! She CHOSE to get back on the drugs after being sober. Walt could've saved her but he didn't put the heroine up her arm and make her throw up.
@@RayAkuma Saul is a business man so I don't think he would give away any part of the commission he got paid unless it's for his "business" in any type of way.
There are no worst seasons of this show... arguably season 5 is the worst season but in other ways it's the best. Some people just don't like the finale of this season, but, honestly, those people's opinions suck... this was the one season that Vince Gilligan and the writers actually planned out start to finish every beat and every episode, and it very much shows... masterfully done... unlike the finale of season 5 which, by Vince's own admission, wasn't as strong as it could have been beacuse they'd painted themselves into a corner with an episode one flash forward that they didn't take any time to think through in advance.
Season 3 is when the roller coaster really starts
Almost finished w/ S3 on Patreon. It’s getting wild now

The relationship between Walt and Jesse is complex. Walt protects Jesse. Like a son. He called Jesse “son” in this episode.
I (Sheim) believe Walt does care for Jesse but a lot of things Jesse goes through is because of the relationship he has with Walt.
