Was a little disappointed being I went to the site to see we have different model vehicles (guess I should had watched to the end of the video first) so need to choose the Android version. May place an order soon but need to call them for questions being I am not trying to lose the dimension system yet...

Hey I got a really big problem. I made it to the radio part of dismantling the old radio but my 4 screws refuse to unscrew. Any suggestions? They’re liked locked onto the car.

@sladeWashintonSVR did you have any issues with your microphone after converting to the Android Head Unit and if so what did you do to fix it ?
I am upgrading my 2011 Hyundai Sonata radio Head Unit to a android head unit and I noticed the Car seat covers that you had what did you cover yours with and how long have they lasted? Did they hold up to normal daily use?

Brother when u disengage the passanger airbag connector, do u have to disconnect the battery? Without disconnecting battery will it cause passager airbag warning light will be on?
You should disconnect the battery anyway whenever you do electrical work on the car. But to keep the pass airbag sensor plugged it, remove the top part of your oem radio that has the clock face. The back of the oem clock has the pass airbag plug for it connected in the same spot. Once you remove the module with the clock and airbag plug, keep it plugged in and just doublestick tape the clock face inside your radio housing. You won't need the clock anymore since the new radio already has one
How did you get your stock audio to work since it comes with the split audio cable? Does your cars audio harness just plugin to the back of the tablet?

Sorry I'm just now responding. I didn't get notifications on new comments for my videos. To keep the passenger airbag light from triggering you need to keep your oem radio backing that has the plug for it. Remove your oem radio and separate the top piece that has the airbag plug and the digital clock in it. I used double stick tape and taped the clock face to the back of the tablet radio. Then you can keep the airbag sensor plugged In.
But how do you connect to the stearing weel buttons??

Mines is still running as good as when I installed it. No burning. No drops or misconceptions. Still connects to Bluetooth, nav and wifi just fine

I actually had something similar for my cord focus but I had to return it because the glare was too much. I couldn’t see anything on the screen. The screen was angle weirdly which caused this
This screen is a bit frosty like the Amazon fire tablet so it doesn't have much glare. But again, I think this company went outta biz because I cannot find this radio anymore 😕

The radio works. You just plug in your factory antenna. I've had trouble getting an amp to work with it though. We were trying to connect subs and even though it has subwoofer in/outputs, it didn't work well for me. Although it could just be my dumbass

I had problems with my amp so I never really got it to work. Was a few issues really.

Just installed the same screen on my 2013 Hyundai Sonata and for some reason the mic sounds like shit when talking thru it. Like nobody can hear me. And did you hook up the original usb that was already in the car? Because that’s what I did and it didn’t work
Jk on the usb. I got that working. I installed a sub woofer and now I’m wondering how I wire it with the back of the screen. I see one sub woofer one but that’s it. Anything you recommend?
I'm currently installing subs now and had to splice the wires with the harness In the back. Also the internal mic does suck. No one can hear me either. I'm working with the product owners on this.
@@SladeWashingtonSVR the harness in the back? Please do explain. I wonder if there’s a way I can hook up the original mic somehow or an after market mic. It’s hard to figure out cause not a lot of people have them so it’s hard to figure out anything about it
@@davidmendoza9659 the kit comes with RCA cable harness for aux and amps and additional speakers, but what we did was splice to the factory speaker wires in the oem harness to hook up the subs. And your right there's not a lot of options for this thing. But it is a nice alternative to the standard radio. You can try to splice the oem mic wire with the tablet mic and see if that works.
@@SladeWashingtonSVR please let me know if you find out anything with the mic. Might get the iPad in dash and see how that plays out

For the music yes. You have to program it through the radio in the settings

It was a. Chinese affiliate but they no longer exist. I think there is a shop in Cali that also sells these but I don't know the name

I think your asking if this does Apple play or Apple link? To my knowledge no it doesn't. And this is running on an older android version. I'm trying to find ways to upgrade to a modern android OS
It’s been a few months now, are you still happy with it and have you had ANY problems with it?
Tbh I really like it. It's not without flaws like it's a bit slow to react on some of the apps. And there's no power button to shut it off, only a home screen. Also some apps don't work with it like this tpms monitor app I bought. But other than that it does everything I want it to do. Got all my music, navigation, iheart radio, and all that. So I'm happy with it. I even watch UA-cam on it when I'm parked. I'm gonna try Netflix for road trips. And the USB cable helps too with connecting my phone. Thanks for the ask Jimmy. I think I'll do a follow-up video review on this thing

It also came with 2 USB connections. A 4pin and a 6pin. I'm using the 6pin.
