Yes its sad that people are displaced. It is a very remote location & it will take time to rebuild. It also appears some of the land is still currently underwater. This will also slow progress. I am happy to see temporary housing has been supplied. The indigenous councils do bring in some large sums from Uluru etc (I saw the accounts when i worked in their office years ago) are they assisting financially to speed things along? Was everyone who was displaced by Northern rivers flooding supplied with temporary housing?
I wish the government would clean or replace my house while I sit and watch
07:09 very well said

Hey ABC, What about Lismore , the Northern rivers NSW and Lower Murray Darling?
Very well said ! And both of those regions are STILL waiting for help.
It's called a flood plain for a reason, their going to have to move to higher ground, like the rest of the town did years ago,
most of the town went under yes the town is on higher ground but the flood was that big that most of the town went under
Terrible for the people who live there not knowing how to move forward. It’s like COVID lockdown all over again 😢
Fix the bridge 🤔
they are but every time there ran up river the they have to stop
