+Neil Clark Hi Rory/Neil! I didn't think it was the greatest landing, but it was OK :) The drifting/float was losing energy gently from going a little too high and fast at the landing. You can kind of hear a little screech during the float which is the stall warning but it's mostly drowned out by the music. I keep pulling back on the yoke to maintain a bit of altitude/height as I slow down. You might already know doing that is called flaring. If you're curious about the distance, I touch down just before the very thick white lines either side of the centreline. That means 1/3 of the runway (which in this case is 4000 feet), so from the big number 4 that's a float of about 1000 feet. A bit long but not too bad! :) Get your Dad to get you an introductory flight at a local flying school!
Thanks that solves that I will do that on flight simulator. RC
Awesome video! I would definitely like the opportunity to fly over NYC one day..
I dint know you can fly over the city, I thought it was just over the river.!!
How did you get the landing so perfect because you look like you drifted a little? RC
