Thank you very much for the video! This solves so many problems for me. I managed to install the plugins (although I had to install an older version of R, 3.6) since the plugin would not work with R4.0. Thanks again!
Thank you. How to create a score for a dichotomous item questionnaire and obtain cutoffs. It has single factor or dimension. Can we use this IRT for that?
Thank you very much for this video, it helped a lot. One question: I have SPSS V27, working with R 3.3 or 3.6. I appreciate it if you share how I access IRT packages for R 3.6. I receive the message that "MASS" is not available for version 3.6. Best wishes
Thank you very much for the video. It really helps! There are SPSS extensions "STATS EXRASCH" and "STATS GRM", if possible, could you produce a video to demonstrate how to analyze polytomous items? And a mix of dichotomous and polytomous items?
Merci beaucoup Dr. pour la vidéo, est ce que cette analyse peut s'appliquer aux items polytomiques, comme la cas avec le modèle de Samejima ? merci d'avance pour votre réponse
This seems very interesting lesson. I was trying to go through the steps according to the instruction provided. I finished all installation of the apps(R35). But, eventually, the extension hub dialog in my SPSS v26 doesn't respond or couldn't give any results could help me to fix this problem? Thank you
Hello, thank you for the video. Do you happen to have any references regarding the suggested cut-off points for each of the parameters? For example, at what point could one consider any given item as "easy", "of moderate difficulty" or "hard". Thank you in advance!
you can take a look at the following papers to get a general idea: 1. journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/0265532220927487?journalCode=ltja 2. www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0191491X2030211X
Thank u so much sir for sharing such an informative video currently I am doing PhD in scale development this analysis will be very helpful in my journey Sir can we use same extension for 2PL as well? And how we interpret the results . Kindly if u make a video on the interpretation of 2PL model for item reduction I will be highly grateful to you. Bless u sir
You can use the Rasch extension which allows you to include the discrimination parameter and run a 2PL IRT analysis. Please watch the relevant video in the channel.
This is very informative! Thank you for this video! I was able to install the plugins and run a test with a previously scored dataset (BILOG). Most b and c parameters are very close, but discrimination (a) is a lot higher in SPSS (1.8 times higher). Only thing missing is estimating the thetas for each students. In there a way to do this (EAP, TCC, ML, etc.)?

ببخشید, فارسی خوب نیست. بهتر است که از ترجمه یوتوب استفاده کنید. Apologies, but I am not good at Farsi when it comes to IRT etc. Find out if you can use automated translation in UA-cam.

Do you have instructions for updated R and SPSS?
Is it possible to run GPCM in similar way?

Good to know that; sure I will consider them. Thank you for the suggestions.

Sorry I am not sure about the issue. You can report the error to SPSS. I hope they can reply.
OR just use the free software JASP.
I think it doesn't work with version 28.

SPSS does not seem to output the theta values (not yet). I think the R package itself will be able to give you the theta values.
Thanks for the video! Can you help me with IRTREE?
If I find time, I will make a video about on using the R package.
