I did just that, but because he wasn't specific and I placed it just a few feet from where he "told" me to, he yelled at me in front of everyone for a good minute. The entire time, I just looked into his eyes and a smile on my face grew and grew. Somehow at that moment, some one who normally thinks he can talk to anyone any way he wants to showed weakness in his stance. Not too long after that, he told me he wanted me to be his second hand man in the plant. Good times
You can not dodge the constant bombardment of others. The more criticism of your rational and healing behavior shows how many see you above them. Get rid of everyone. Being alone is peaceful and rewarding. Focus on your goals and time. The others that can’t keep up will slowly be silenced. As your distance of growth helps the silence which further lest your mind have control of your own self time and wellbeing

I am working on the emotional response aspects and made a lot of progress to not over-react. Certainly been in a few situations where I have gone from being most right to most wrong. Also a good friend mentored me with this comment about not putting a dog into the fight. Now I only put a dog into a fight which is winnable.

And two, it leaves time for that person to feel remorse, without me saying a single word. If the person apologizes to me with a humble attitude and demeanor. All plans and schemes I had come up with, are placed out of my mind. And I no longer need to teach the offensive person a lesson.

I was careful to always keep my stepdaughter informed of her mother's condition and always invited her daughter to visit. When my wife passed away, I invited her daughter (and her daughter's children) to the funeral. Knowing everything we owned was titled with a right of survivorship (meaning everything passed without probate to me), I immediately transferred everything to a living trust and then blocked my step daughter and her children from any further contact. She can't do anything in the courts to contest this, and given money was her primary interest, I left her with nothing.
When insulted, or belittled somehow, usually in front of a group....and especially if the "insulter" is a "Mr. Alpha" or a jealous Beta I find that waiting until they are done....and then responding with the following: " A Lion does not concern Himself with the Opinion of Sheep" is usually quite effective... and done without the use of any profanity!.....You can thank me later.....

When disrespected, the Sigma should consider their true motives for interacting with the person who disrespected them. If the Sigma's motives weren't honorable prior to the slight, the Sigma may have virtually or else subconsciously solicited the disrespect. The perception of disrespect could be a signal of a toxic relation, but the Sigma blaming the other just conceals their own culpability in the toxicity. The toxic relation need not be abandoned entirely if and when the Sigma can restore their own honorability towards it.

I try not to put myself in situations where disrespect could occur. I don’t have many close friends so if it disrespect does occur it’s usually randomly by someone with a chip on their shoulder caused by a rough life. Most people disrespect because they are broken to a degree. I also recognize that life isn’t the easiest right now. Now days if it happens I just shrug it off. But since I am human I also find myself replaying the incident but with a much different outcome. It usually involves a dangerous nuclear device of some kind.

When disrespected, the Sigma should consider their true motives for interacting with the person who disrespected them. If the Sigma's motives weren't honorable prior to the slight, the Sigma may have virtually or else subconsciously solicited the disrespect.
The perception of disrespect could be a signal of a toxic relation, but the Sigma blaming the other just conceals their own culpability in the toxicity. The toxic relation need not be abandoned entirely if and when the Sigma can restore their own honorability towards it.

I try not to put myself in situations where disrespect could occur. I don’t have many close friends
so if it disrespect does occur it’s usually randomly by someone with a chip on their shoulder caused by a rough life.
Most people disrespect because they are broken to a degree.

@@ViktorMudryiSW There is no standard reality. There are numerous perspectives for each individual viewpoint; everything is relative. "Accepting" a certain reality as the only true is the same as accepting being a slave of it while carrying a narrow-point-of-view label on your back.
For example, since many young guys here don't understand this yet, mostly from lack of experience: I have enough experience (~ 40 years old) to know that I have all the traits of what you call a Sigma, but I also have traits of Alphas exactly to same degree. You cannot call me one or the other only, because I am both and each of the traits are used accordingly where I decide to as needed, while also having other traits.
