How To Get Amazing Soft Light + My Secret

Recreating or creating a soft look from scratch requires planning and patience. Often, lighting is something we take for granted, we only enjoy it when it’s great and most of the time we don’t even know why it’s so good. Think about the sunrise or late afternoons when the crispy sun is hitting our eyesight. We are impressed by the quality of that light. But why is that?
In this video, I’m showing you how to get great soft lighting with just one light and if you stay till the end, I will tell you my secret of getting the nicest soft light that you can ever achieve. When we say the quality of light, we refer to the shape of it and how the light behaves. We call this hard light and soft light. Now, most people prefer soft light, because it’s even and because it creates a good mood and it’s pleasing to the eye. It’s more flattering.
Storytelling is achieved by combining many aspects of filmmaking. Lighting is undoubtedly one of the most important assets in any video content creator’s arsenal. The role of lighting is to shape the subject’s character and play along with the plot of the video. There are many pieces of the puzzle of video creation, but every step you’ll make towards a better story will make you a better creator.
