Perfect!..... what are the rules to make art reproduction without infringe copyright?!

Jaime Botello First, if you want to sell a copy, you have to choose to copy an artist who died long enough ( I gess before worl war one is pretty safe ). Second, don't forge the artist signature, you've done a copy and the buyer has to know this is not an original, and last, don't paint your copy the same size of the original, you must reduct or increase the size for 10/20% to avoid your copy to be confused with the original. I think this is some good practices to keep in mind when doing master copies.

@@madjidchouarbi3921 Generally paintings of all artists are protected by copyright for the period of Life of the author + 70 years. Actually there are no restrictions about size, signature (In some paintings, the signature is an important part of the composition - eg van Eyck's Arnolfini), or other attributes. The main and most important thing is to not present the reproduction as an original painting.

what kind of paper are you using?

    • @madjidchouarbi3921

Vincent Yu The painter doesn't use any paper but a canvas. If you want to practice oil painting, it's the best way to do. Of course, you can also paint on paper, but both on paper or canvas, you have to protect your support with some layers of gesso to avoid the oil to burn it during the drying process ( of course, this, will take years to damage the canvas or the paper, but it will do ) Using a primer like gesso also makes your painting more durable along centuries, prevent crackling and other problems. Nowdays, you can find some special paper for oil painting that you can use without any primer, but it's quite a new art supplie, and we don't really know how it will pass the test of times. I hope I helped you, wish you the best.
