This was fun to watch. Those books are a fussy cutters challenge. I find them all the time and just end up selling them because of the difficulty of cutting those up. Glad to see someone else doing it. TFS Hugs * L

I’d like to see your process for a video like this. How do you bring the preparation of the tags into a place where you add the fussy cuts or was the decision made ahead to make the tags/pockets then fussy cut the specific book contents. I hope this makes sense. Thank you.

The book page tags were created because I had a large pile of book pages that I needed to do something with. And, then I went on vacation to visit my parents over a year ago in 2023, so I took the book pages with me, some glue, scissors and made tons of the book page tags by gluing 3 book pages together and cutting them out. I have had this book for a few years and a couple weeks ago, I decided I would like to cut out images from the book, not really having a plan for them, but I knew I would use them. Then it dawned on me I could use some of the images from the book on these book page tags I am still trying to decorate from over a year ago, lol. I hope that answers your questions a little bit.

Im a new subbie and I would love to see a process video on how you decide where things will go in a journal (pockets, tags and clusters) and why they go there.
I am new to junk journaling and find my fist journal very overwhelming (it is a binder cookbook journal).
Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

I will try to answer your question here and in future videos, but really you just have fun with it. Put things where you think they look nice and where you think they are needed, like when you need a little something to finish out the page or on a pocket or in a pocket. There are no rules in junk journaling and don't over think it. I have to tell myself to just do it and not think about it too much all the time and I've been doing this since 2015. Enjoy and welcome to my channel!

Sheree, would you share what Florida thrift stores you frequent? I live in S FL, but like to stop in different stores whenever we take a road trip. Thanks!

There are so many. I would say if you are near Mt. Dora, Eustis, Umatilla or other small towns and cities in that area, Google thrift stores near me. There are tons. I don't really even go to the big flea market in Mt. Dora but it's a great place to go if you never been there. The main cities I focus on are the 3 I mentioned because there are so many in those 3, you don't need any more, lol! I hope that helps. There is a huge thrift store in Mt. Dora that has vendors/stalls. Some of their stuff you might find a little pricy, but they have good deals and sales, plus a lot of them have really cool and unique stuff. It's called something like Antique Market or something like that. It's in downtown Mt. Dora but not on the main drives, kind of on your way out of downtown.
