I have a german roleplay server playing in america. I took over the server from the old owner because he was no longer active and now I run it. Actually, the end of every server is that in the end only the staff team is active and the players are no longer active. It's sad because I and I'm sure many other servers are trying really hard but there are just too many big roleplay servers out there that people want to play on. It's really sad because nowadays no one wants to help small servers grow anymore, and only wants to join ready-made servers.
I remember back when they first added them, I created a server which got to the max players. Then they released a bug patch which shut down all of the servers, and mine never recovered
Same, but there's more to mine. My server was active 24/7 from the day I started it, even at midnight without me being on. But then a fight happened when I was on vacation in Canada. We finally got max players again but it took so long, but then the bug patch came in and killed the server.
Yo bro, I got my own server and I have a good amount of experience with making servers and I can fully vouch that what you saying is more accurate than a quantum computer! Very helpful to newcomers and people who really want to grow a server. *everything in life requires effort. How much effort you put in will reflect on your results*
The real problem are big server suffocating the newer ones, I had an almost unique idea, I’m working hard to grow my server I’ve got around 3 members and 2 big servers with 500+ members already asked me to “merge with them” but in reality it is not a merge but a “become part of us”, also the ad spamming of big servers on the prc discord where there is a max of 2 ads a day for the same server but no one enforces it. I’m working hard, I will work hard, I won’t dump this project of mine
Private servers need to stop forcing people to join there discord it shouldn't be a requirement you should be able to play in the server freely and join there discord on your own terms
at 1:27 that happend the sweden rp server were the norway rp server took over and just made the server chaos to make them join there rp server and now both are closed
I started creating my own Community for ER:LC called LA Roleplay, onbiously based in Los Angeles. I spent Months with my Team to finish everything from the ERLC Server to Discord. I put a ton of Money into it for Websites, Bots, Premium features and what not. We have custom Staff Uniforms and Liveries, a ton of RP Liveries and Uniforms, just like every other RP Server. Tho even with having 170 Members our ERLC Server is sadly always empty. Makes me a bit sad coming to think of how much Money went lose.

In my opinion, if you get alot of friends like what i did when starting a roleplay server just now. It will grow if you just get everyone in the server at the same time.
Story time: I got my own server for the fun of it and somebody join it and he said do you want to join my server and me being me I did and now we have a server together and discord server in the making and multiple people join
I've done this for three years only got a hundred members so far but I do got experience and white surfer I've only had it for a year because I got raided previously I was trying to fix that damaged my account got hacked lost my discord had to start all over but I'm trying to grow
I just created my roleplay server and I made the name California Roleplay. I might change the name due to many people using it. Although its not really growing I am trying my best and its fun!
Yeah it is kinda sad man for small server i moderate a Greenville roleplay server and it is called TH3RP, and it has over 57k members in it it is a pretty big server man ok man :) :D
I own SWAT RAID RP server which is quite popular and on our discord we have about 130+ members and i bought it about 1 year back and it didnt grow at first but then one day i joined it and poeple started joining me so yeah its still running last day we got 41 players yes 41 LoL.
California State Roleplay mods SUCK A cop made me literally crash him and then I sent caps because they literally were to ban me for "crashing his car" And toxicity because i said caps And the Cop was literally Saying L KEEP CRYING KID When he was about to send me to jail because i literally crashed his car. Trash mods and i think that cop should get banned.
Guys there is in erlc a server from jdog do not join his servers he has the worst mods they abuse one time a mod was supossed to kick me but kicked another chris and only because the owner insulted me I insulted him back and than he kicked me trust me he is the most rigged person ever

Listen 170 members are so much already. Yes ERLC is expensive to make but its also all about having fun too! Tell me if you want some support.

Advertising thru prc discord is useless so I began advertising in servers and it works somewhat better
