Rethink Food x NeOn Nutrition Kitchen

In New York City alone, 1 in 4 of our neighbors face food insecurity - while millions of lbs of perfectly good food goes to waste. And while our restaurant partners and commissary team are hard at work preparing meals, the beating heart of our operation is the Community Based Organizations who distribute them.
This week, we’re highlighting some of the efforts and initiatives from our CBO partners, and shining a light on how they perceive the growing need for good food in our communities. Today, we sat down with Stephen Cacace and Carlos Melendez from NeOn Nutrition Kitchen, to discuss their work and operation.
NeON Nutrition Kitchens are neighborhood food pantries that seek to help people transitioning from the justice system. With locations in all 5 boroughs, Cacace and his team work to provide nutritious food, and Rethink Meals, to anyone searching for assistance. Watch to learn more.
