In the early 50s and 60s Mantin town is a very busy town that connecting to the south that is Seremban ...if we travel down south , Mantin is a place where we stop to refresh ...to quench thirst or just to have something to eat ...either mamak food ,Malay or Chinese food ... Mantin is also famous for its jack fruit .... After the construction of the federal highway , from Kuala Lumpur to Seremban .....Mantin had been less busy ....quite a few vehicle go through the town of Mantin ...only those who like to have the old memories of nostalgic moment will pas by Mantin town ....some times I just spend sometimes in Mantin town , remembering the time me and my family used to stop there in our journey to kuala kelawang Jelebu through Seremban But now sometimes I took my grandchildren to Mantin just to get them to know the history of this sleepy town ...and in the mean times visited the old grosary shop , looking for old item such as old lighter ...old pen or dip in pen to write .... Sometime looking for old Chinese kerosene lamp , Mantin town started during the early settler due to tin mining and rubber plantation Those were the days
