We are back with a new video. This vlog is a continuation of last video which is all about "Thanksgiving Day Celebration's in New York City, USA". After visiting Macy's Thanks Giving Parade and the famous Magnolia Bakery in New York, we continued to explore two more places that is Rockefeller Center and Bryant Park. These two places are well known for the Thanksgiving and Christmas events every year. We had great time spending time together for this Thanksgiving Day in New York City.
Rockefeller Center is a large complex consisting of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres between 48th Street and 51st Street in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is a large Christmas tree placed. The tree is put in place in mid November and lit in a public ceremony. Opposite to the Rockefeller Christmas Tree there is another building called Saks of Fifth Avenue, it is one of the departmental store and they organize the LIGHT SHOW every year at the time of Christmas season. Each show lasts about 3 minutes. In these 3 minutes, 3 or 4 famous Christmas-themed songs are featured.
Bryant Park is a 9.6-acre public park located in the New York City borough of Manhattan. The park hosts several events, including a seasonal "Winter Village" with an ice rink and shops during the winter. It's definitely worth visiting to this place, as there's always something interesting going around. There are free newspapers and books available, you can play table tennis and there's plenty of seating. Around the park you'll find numerous restaurants and cafes. Ice Skating - The rink's ice is made on site and kept cold with chillers for about a week prior to the season opening. They are building up that ice layer, constantly adding layers and freezing it to make sure we get the right quality of ice for the public.
