@@randallcrow1992 Thanks. I do have 1 black 008k A, and a Suzuki Bluesmaster C. I think the Easttop is better, heavier, but I'm wondering if it's worth getting ONE more expensive one. I've had lots of guitars, and my experience is, that while the less expensive, but still playable and good guitars , could not compare to the more expensive ones. Each served a purpose for me. I'm just not sure about these. I can bend easier on the Easttop than the Suzuki, but that might be the key difference, or just my shitty newbie skills. I'm thinking (& I could be wrong here), the more expensive models, like a Crossover, would be much easier to bend the 3 draw all the way? And then there is the longevity factor etc. I've spent close to 3 grand on a guitar, don't know why I wanna go so cheap on these, lol.
I was confused at first because the thumbnail looked like a model train set. I didnt know how i ended up with that 😂 But thank you for the comparison, i just got into the harmonica and I lovr the 008Ks the most. They feel great and I thought that Fender was a good cheapie, but Easttop blows it out of the water. I also love the weight and sturdiness of them. Hohner rocket Low actually feels cheap in comparison. I barely would try with hohner or Lee oskar if not for the lows. But Suzuki I want to try.
Thanks.... guitar guy trying to crack the blues harp code. Just got the Easttop 008 A...surprised me how good it played.. Even I could bend the notes on it right out of the box, lol..... I never know if it's me or the harmonica that can't get the low drops on the 3 draw, lol.. I mean, sometimes, ya...guess it's me, ha ha. I got a Suzuki C. bluesmaster, seem ok, I don't what the more expensive ones are like...just YouTubing the opinions...some say the more expensive ones are easier to bend? Got a Hohner D harp in my amazon cart for $54 CAD to try out, but now after watching this, I just might stick with the East tops. Why spend more than I have to be a living room blues star? Thanks for this review.
Thanks for the heads-up on the Easttop Free Blues. I'm going to try one. The prices of the big 4 harmonica manufacturers have gotten out of my budget. With the latest price increases, I say enough is enough. Thanks for the video.
Easttop T008k is an excellent harmonica. I've gotten them from banggood for as little as $9.99, with just $3 shipping. But, they're usually about $15.99, which is still an awesome price.
Yes I totally agree with you..I really think they play the same only if not better than the more expensive harmonicas! Such as special 20s and manjies..
@@landztranz I have a issue with wood combs swelling and they become uncomfortable to play. Other than that I like them. I would say give eastop 008K a shot. Other than that I really like hohner special 20s. Have you ever tried the marine bands? If you like blues harp you might really like the marine bands.. but you should really try eastop! They have great chromatic harmonicas too. For the price they great harmonicas..
@@bluesharp68harmonicareview11 So far I've just bought a new Blues Harp in A to replace my old one, which wasn't playing properly and I couldn't fix. And since it's new I'm really enjoying it...it works and it's responsive, etc. I'd love to try other harps, though, so I hopefully will some day. :-)
This is one of the very best vids I've seen on the Easttops. Thanks.
Hey glad you liked it! I'm new to making videos, and just trying to be thorough in my reviews..thanks for checking it out!
@@bluesharp68harmonicareview11 You are welcome. After watching I ordered a complete set of Eastop Blues harmonicas! Good luck with your channel.
@@randallcrow1992 2 years later now.... how are they? Still got them?
@@Bloozguy they are very good.

What was the number for the second easttop harp you was showing wasn't quite catching what you was saying
It's a T008k..
Have you ever had Hohner Blues Harps?
Yeah I have one but I don't really like wood combs, but it plays really good..
@@bluesharp68harmonicareview11 Please explain; I''ve been playing for years and I'd like to replace some of my harps, which are mostly Blues Harps.
