Would love to see a video for international students, because ACT and APs are not so famous abroad like they are in the US. So what could internationals do to get admitted to UW-Madison. Like what are the major things admissions rep see in internationals.
I'n a sophomore and deciding if it's worth it to go to college and if I do I want to go to UW-Madison and UW-Madison only, but I don't know if I have the grades what I want to go in for and also wondering if you actually need a foreign language to get in because I haven't took any and when I did I didn't do so good, so I'm kinda still stuck this helps me out for what I can do if I know what I am doing, but I still don't
I encourage you to try even if you doubt yourself. That's what I did and it worked out for me! As far as languages, most colleges (including UW) require students to have studied a foreign language. They can be tricky but keep working hard.
I applied to UW-Madison and I think I wrote good essays for it. I got waitlisted so maybe I don't have good enough grades for it. I don't think I'l get in because most people who get waitlisted don't get in. What do you think?
A waitlist is still preferable to a denial, so be proud of having made it this far. Applying to college is all about finding the right fit for you so dont take this outcome as a judgement of you or your abilities. Keep shooting for the stars!!!

I would love to be able to show this to 16 year old you! Nervous that UW Madison was so out of reach only based on ACT scores.
