- 100 hours of work: Here's my results after trying to push the limits with the Blender physics add-on by Kai Kostack! This simulation can be improved in many ways. Name a few in the comments below!

I hope these simulations will educate the general public about potential earthquake related hazards and create more curiosity about Earth Science in general. I do also hope that my videos will inspire a future generation of amazing architects, engineers and scientists! We all need to peacefully work together to make this world a better place. :)

Something wrong with the airplane model; it does not destroy even after colliding with a concrete building.

The plane body texture looked like jelly after the collision with concrete building.
SUGGESTION: Make the cities more dense, because cities aren't typically that spread out like suburbs.

I love how this channel is growing from earthquakes to all sorts of disasters!
The physics model of the airplane is inaccurately portrayed and resembles more of a rubber duck plane. The structures of airplanes are exceptionally slender, exhibiting behavior similar to that of an aluminum can when faced with impacts or obstacles such as a tree. In reality, the fuselage should experience significant deformation, breaking up into small shards of metal after any collision.
I agree with pixel why is it built like a balloon? Why does it never break when it hits the ground every single scenario if you go see real plane crashes on the Internet they are not like that

The plan is too durable. The fuselage would have broken up instantly in some of these crashes.
would be interesting to see the addition of a small ground movement on impact, to aid in realism surrounding the shockwave

Hey bro, I guess you can say that I finally felt the shaking of a small earthquake and that was the best feeling for me and I actually caught the ground shaking on camera 🫨
I suggest that if you want to do this in future videos, the plane density needs to be turned waaaaay down, but fun video nevertheless.

Maybe make the train tracks into sections and not all connected, so when the plane hits them, only part of it where it got hit would collapse?

How in Blender 3D did you launch the plane?
I made a launch pad . I tried setting an initial velocity but it didn’t work
But how? Did you put an object intersecting the plane so that it forced the plane out at a fast speed? Or is that something with the Blender add-on you are using? I am looking to create an experiment somewhat like this.@@EarthquakeSim

Very fascinating simulation!!! Though the airplane does feel a bit too durable, the buildings have almost no effect on the integrity of the craft
I'd rate this a 9 out of 11
It isnt realistic because the plane didnt spilt into more then 1 peace because this wouldn't happen instead it would would have exploded
