I was 11 at the time and in our house we all sat waiting for it to come on . Me Dad said youl love this 😂 he was a cool Dad 😂 . Changed everything. The Young Ones was just amazing as well and it was the same gang in the comic strip and it felt like it was for our generation but to tell you the truth even my gran and grandad loved it god rest their souls 😂😂. Our house was boss back in the day ... ❤️
Loved Alexei Sayle's jobsworth motorbike cop in Supergrass!
It's always been a shame that Peter Richardson never got the fame he so richly deserved .
I agree.
@@suddenlyfrogs1906i agree as well
I still have that Comic Strip book AND "The Young Ones Book: Bachelor Boys".
Brilliant - thanks for posting
omg 2 of my favourite people, we need more of them on screen, Comic Strip is the best!!! alongside The Young Ones.
Ince's answer to the "woke" question was so excellent. He skewered that completely. Very impressed by Robin Ince in these interviews. I loved the dismissal of Gervais and Carr as Bernard Manning.
"Ahhhh Robin" - Ricky Gervais. When I saw Ricky on his "Fame" tour, Robin was the support act.
"The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plane".
To obvious.

Robin thinks theres not a problem with cancellation of historic comedy including alternative comedy Little Britain. Never thought Robin was funny back in the day.
