Keowee Toxaway State Park

This video is intended to compliment the South Carolina State Parks website campground information. The information on their website about each campsite is useful in choosing a site, but their dimensions for equipment size and site grade are not always correct. At Keowee Toxaway State Park, the site descriptions are pretty accurate. The real issue here is the road leaving the sites. Although there is room for large trailers and motor homes, the road out is steep downhill. I would suggest that anyone with a trailer longer than 25’ drive through without the trailer to see if they were comfortable with the road. I have not camped here, but thought that this video might help others decide if it was a possibility. I hope it helps.

Dammit, I was here for the tent sites!

Sorry. I am not much of a tent camper anymore. I do include the tent sites sometimes, but I try not to intrude on any campers. The tent sites were pretty full when I was there. You can kind of see the tent sites towards the end of the video, but not up close.
