Hi I am really interested in a couple of the the perfumes that you just showed especially the Soleil du Soleil in the amethyst. Because I've been looking at them but they're going to be blind by juice for me so Amazon price seemed very good but on Amazon I can't find the 3.4 ounce of the select but I found a 1.7 Oz for I think $127. I just shop on Amazon a lot more than any other site shopping site but they all seem interested no more interested do not in the Macy's or Lord & Taylor's are any of those type of stores and they see more unique and I like unique things the bottle to select all the bottles are beautiful but the bottom of the sole does speak for the company of lanique it tells a lot about their products and makes you want to look into their jewelry and their bottles and your crystalware and all that thank you good interview I enjoyed it and that bracelet around the bottle looks beautiful just around the bracelet says a lot is unique. It is also this perfume is cheaper than Chanel they don't come with no bracelet😁😬🙂
I have a bottle of Amethyst waiting for me at home while I'm away now. I can't wait to get home & "play" in all the perfumes I've ordered to my house! It's a LOT!! I'll let you know how I like it.

I Really enjoy your videos . Love the red on you! I purchased Amethyst and L'Amour several months ago ( both blind buys) Both are beautiful fragrances but Amethyst is my favorite. L'Amour just vanishes on me. Amethyst is a calming scent for me which lasts a long time .

Yes, I prefer Amethyst over L’Amour. I want to try Eclat! They’re so inexpensive that I don’t mind overspraying them, so they do tend to stick around on me. But I think I could do without La Parfum and L’Amour.

You look so fabulous! 😍 Amethyst had to grow on me too. At first I didn’t get the hype but then my husband asked me what I was wearing so I started to wear it more often. 😆 It’s a perfume I see myself wearing on a sunny and fresh fall day as we get here up north. There is a dirt note in it for me... in a good way. L’amour could definitely be a signature scent! Great review!

Yes to it all!! It had to grow on me and their is this earthiness to it. Ahhh, so calming 😌 I think it’s refreshing for summer but could be so crisp for the fall cool air.

I had amethysts and it gave me headaches! It also lasts long. I also tested a sample of lamour it smells very creamy light smooth white floral which becomes a little soapy I liked the scent and It didn't bother me! I'll test Soleil later too.

You discribed soleil perfect, although I do find it a summer gourmand, amethyst is the perfect parfume when I didn't get enough sleep and I will try it as a pick me up, that could work 🤔 - I also did not like at first sniff.

It could definitely pull gourmand on some people’s skin but my skin always pulls the citrus on a lot of my scents. I was hoping to pick up the coffee and candies almond 😐 Maybe after it sits around for awhile. I’ve noticed perfumes change with time 🤞🏼

It’s super affordable, I think I found mine for under $30 💜 I will say she had to grow on me but now I find myself reaching for her a lot. She’s just calming scent. I hope you and your family are doing well too! 😘

Personally, I've heard more people talking like Rebecca about Soleil. Most rave because Lalique has sent the perfumes to try on. I'm really interest in this one so I appretiate your review a lot.

I needed this rewiev!!so good to see it.i just got lalique fleur de cristal and it's an amazing floral perfume. I still think that lalique creates long lasting and strong scents. I also have lalique-perles de lalique,but it gives me headache🙂

I have the same love & hate thing with the Lalique la parfum, sometimes it comes off as medicinal to me too. I like Amethyst the best from the Lalique line. It’s calming, beautiful and I just love it. At first, I didn’t love it but the more I sprayed it I fell in love with it. I wear it when I feel stressed, it calms me. I’m more than halfway through it lol I’ll always repurchase Lalique
Yes! Now that I’m home more, I find myself reaching for Amethyst for that very reason. Such a calming scent 😌 She will have a dent in no time 😝

I also have Amethyst Eclat. It is very pretty. More floral than Amethyst. Amethyst is better because I just love the green, dry and berry scent.

Hi! I'm so interested in Lalique Le Parfum! Is the Bay Leaf in it the same smell as the bay leaf we use for cooking? I love that smell!
It’s been some time since I’ve smelled it but I don’t remember it smelling like the bay leaf we cook with 😞

I have a travel of Meliora but haven’t tested it yet. But I will be soon since several have made the comparison. You will have to let me know how you like Amethyst. I didn’t love her at first but I do now! Such a good affordable perfume! 💜
Rebeca Collazo I finally got my Amethyste in today! Yehey!!! :) and I love it! I agree that It smells similar to Meliora in the opening, but Meliora stays juicy up to the dry down and amethyste becomes berry musk with a hint of spice(?). I know it must be the pepper but for some reason it comes off as anise to me. Am I weird? I still think its worth buying again. But i have 3 bottles as initial order and gave 1 to my sister’s partner. Im ordering more next time lol so maybe im not getting Meliora for now.

I have Amethyst and Le Parfum, both are a very strong like but not love for me. I would repurchase both, but not for much more than I paid for them. They were both in the $40CAD range, may be a little less.
I would repurchase Amethyst. I’m still trying to get pass the opening of Le Parfum. I might need to revisit that one if fall 🍁

My fav is satine. I just lovvveee it. And you are absolutely right about amythest.. its an acquired smell.. didn't like it at first but i am glad I bought it. Here in India satine and amethyst is extremely costly.
Perles de Lalique has good projection and longevity. Even lasted after I went into the pool.

I absolutely love Lalique parfum. I actually blind bought it because i love vanilla and i kept hearing good things. It’s not something i would usually go for but i think that’s why i enjoy it so much. The bay leaf does make it medicinal in the beginning, it’s such an interesting smell. It dries to a powdery vanilla on my skin☺️i also love the bottle it’s such good quality!
Yes, La Parfum is very interesting and unique! And changes depending on when I wear her. I think the Lalique line is pretty unique and most are super affordable ❤️

Random question but is there a travel atomizer you would recommend ? I see the ones that pump straight from the bottle of perfume to the bottom of atomizer with the window but some reviews say they leak due to air plane pressure when flying. Just wondered if this was true?
Not yet. I don’t travel too much and when I do I’ve been lucky to have many of my favorite perfumes in travel sprays.
I love Amethyst perfume. One of my favorite scents in the world! Unfortunately for me it only last a couple of hours. I also have Parfum de Marly Meliora. They are about 90% the same. Amethyst is more green and dry and dark berry. Meliora is more creamy dark berry. Unfortunately, Meliora doesn’t last long on me either. Maybe a little longer than amethyst, but not much. Both were created by Natalie Lorson. Amethyst is about $30 a bottle and Meliora is $300 a bottle.
I have a travel of Meliora and I’ve heard the comparison and can’t wait to test it out myself 💕 I hear that the Lalique perfumes do not last on a lot of ppl but they seem to last but definitely sit very close to my skin.

I've worn lalique perfumes for years & agree with you. I've got to buy "Soleil".
"Amethyst" reminds me of blackcurrant & blackberry picking as a child on a warm long late British summers day. I used to crush a blackcurrant leaf as a kid just to smell the fragrance of it in my hands. That note for me is picked up perfectly in Amethyst.
For any berries & their leaves in summertime scent lovers I'd say stick with their Amethyst original, don't buy the "Amethyst Eclat". I did once & I found the latter disappointing. It was fine, just for me not a patch on the original Amethyst.
I love Azalee too. It's fresh peach & Lalique are the only perfume house I know that capture this without the wearer being overwhelmed with screechy, sugary, often artificial gloop. Azalee is beautifully enhanced with lovely aromatics. Not overly strong, I need a good few sprays on me & my clothing to get longevity out of it.
The only two Laliques so far that really weren't for me are "Nilang" & "Satine". On me these just smell like dated, sour perfumes. No notes detected, probably because I didn't care for them on my skin.
It's a huge shame that Lalique's "Fleur de Cristal" has been discontinued. It's just like a fresh realistic bouquet of classy white florals. Any lover of gentle white floral scents who see this at a reasonable price sold on auction sites etc, my advice is to go for it. It's a piece of Lalique perfume history.

Ms. Becky, you are such a layering genius, I'd love to ask you what you might layer with Lalique Le Parfum to make it last longer through the day, something maybe from Bath & Body Works or something that Walmart carries, if you have any suggestions. Maybe something heavy on vanilla? I have a few body creams and I'm seriously considering wearing this perfume to a family gathering in a couple of weeks, but I know it won't last all day long; just trying to get a couple more hours from it without having to attempt to decant it or buy a sample to take to the dinner. I also have Jimmy Choo Illicit, Jimmy Choo Fever (a couple of samples) and a few other coffee/caramel type gourmand scents I'm considering, but I really like Lalique Le Parfum, enough to already have a backup bottle of it. Any input is appreciated so thank you! ~Cynthia
Hi Cynthia 👋🏼 Happy Sunday! My favorite Vanilla lotion is Warm Vanilla Sugar by Bath & Body Works, don’t let the name fool you, it’s a warm, soft vanilla and not to sugary like the name would imply. It also goes with so many fragrances that have vanilla and it doesn’t seem to take over the perfume. I also really enjoy Aveenos fragrance free lotion. I use that when I don’t want to alter anything but I find that fragrances really stick to me when I wear it because it’s a nice, hydrating formula. Hope either of these help make your fragrance last longer 🤞🏼

Hi, Becky. i found this video in researching Lalique Le Parfum. Sarah Mayes, you and others had me fascinated by it. I found a great buy on a tester at FragranceX, but today, when it arrived, they had sent me the wrong one. They sent a men's cologne, Lalique Encre Noire A L'Extreme for Men, ack! I was so disappointed. My husband doesn't wear cologne so makes no sense to keep it even if I thought about doing that. These bottles are really gorgeous on both, though; in fact, most of their bottles are so pretty. Guess I'll have to argue their return label charge since it was their mistake, not just a return because I didn't like it. Such a bummer! Does that happen often, a company sending the wrong one? I also got a sample of Elizabeth & James Nirvana Bourbon which is very interesting, not sure I'd want a full bottle, though. Have you smelled that one, I don't remember if I've seen you review it. ~Cynthia
Hi Cynthia 👋🏼 I haven’t had a wrong bottle sent over but I did have a bottle leak a little and ruin the box it came in. Usually I wouldn’t make a big deal but it was a niche fragrance and I felt it should have come nicely packaged so they discounted the fragrance. I would definitely argue the shipping label. You should not come out of pocket for their error. I hope they don’t give you a hard time! I do have 30mls of all the EJ perfumes, my favorite is Nirvana Rose. I do layer Nirvana Bourbon. It’s a simple vanilla with a touch of smokiness to my nose. The whole line gives be a sort of Smokey bar vibe but in a good way 😝
@@rebecacollazo Ugh, I'd hate for an expensive or rare perfume to leak. If I had someone who wore cologne, I might not return, but my husband doesn't and my older son gets migraines from fragrance. I just gave my younger son Franck Olivier Oud Vanille because it was too choky-smoky for me. I don't mind that quality in the Nirvana Bourbon at all, though, as it's much more subtle and rich to my nose. Oud Vanille was like a house fire (which I've had-flashbacks!). Thanks for your reply! I'm still waiting on an answer for the getting charged for the return label. They said they'd send the right product when they got this one back but didn't address that one question. EDIT: They replied very early this morning-very prompt to get back with me after hours, I must say-they will not charge me for the return and will get the correct product out when they get this one back. So, hopefully, I'll have my perfume in a week or so.

Hey girl..Amethyst she does not like me at all 😭...idk why on me it’s very very “mature “ to the point I had to wash if off ( or try to..it’s sticks) those notes usually work very well on me but sadly not this time. I love the bottle though 🙂

The Lalique Amethyst is actually a dupe for Parfums de Marly Meliora. They were both even created by the same perfumer.

Actually, Meliora is the dupe if you consider the timeline, as Amethyst came years earlier. 2007, I guess, whilst Meliora in 2013. :)
I just bought Lalique by Lalique. Its not love at first sniff, but I will give it another chance. It's the risk you take when you blind buy.
Is that different from Lalique Le Parfum? Yes, but hopefully it was a cheapie! I’d say 2 of the 4 I’ve grown to love ❤️
Iv got the last perfum my husband gifted for my 40th with little help from me do really love bottle perfum is nice but sad too say does not last very long 2hous or so I got for £47 but think it's silly money full price x

Love the price point!! I heard Amethyst smells a lot like a Parfums de Marly Meliora so I recently compared and they are so close! It looks like the same perfumer created both perfumes.
I allways say Soleil is a winter perfume, try it in winter. :)
