Because the war hadnt ended yet when the game came out, the outcome of the Madara vs 5 Kage battle is a little bit different. In the anime/manga, he really did walk all over them with no difficulty
Personally, I would say that Madara leaving the five Kage all nearly dead with Tsunade cut in half at the waist is more than a little bit different, but yes.

In the anime, Tsunade got split in half by the abdomen with a giant tree. Her legs are literally meters away from her upper body. Pretty messed up stuff.
Lucky she has slugs that can somehow piece her back together 😂

Yea, the thing with Tobi being joke-like is that he said that it was an act he put on around the other Akatsuki members cause he didn’t want the others to know who he really was.
Ohoho in the anime the Kage got absolutely manhandled.
Others have already said that this game's ending diverges from official cannon, so I wont go into that myself. What I do want to say is that I personally love this ending. I love that final fight against Tobi and the way in which Naruto gets a final epic moment against him, were he gets to demonstrate his power, his intelligence, and they even make a callback to Tobi's fight against Minato, Tobi learned, but Naruto doesn't let that stop him.
I know it can't be the official ending since there's way too many plot threads that aren't adressed, but I somewhat wish it was sorta like this.

I also prefer the way the game did the five kage against Madara. I hated that in the anime he basically just played around with them and was never really bothered. These are the 5 most powerful and influential ninja in the world, if I had written it I would’ve done the same thing the game did.
Show the five kage some respect, show how op they’d be if they worked as a team, show that even the most powerful ninja of all would have trouble against all 5.
You can still have Madara win at the end but make it a lot closer. You don’t have to humiliate the 5 kage to build up Madara. 🤦♂️
They changed the story here? Normally madara bullied them like it was nothing
Storm 3 came out long b4 the story in the anime reached this point I think. While some things are different, the story and battles are still the same.
He didn't bully them he could have but he allowed them to have a few comebacks and dramatic moments lol
We're getting close to the end of the War Arc, just to let you know that the War Arc was still unfinished when the game came out so this ending battle will be a little different in Storm 4. Can't wait for the next part.
Yes, the Four Tails and Jinchuriki are a direct reference to Master Roshi and Son Goku and the Ape form of the Saiyans (R.I.P. Akira Toriyama). Naruto wears Orange and Blue like Goku, and Sasuke wears Blue and White like Vegeta, so you can see that Kishimoto was inspired by Toriyama and other legendary authors for Naruto.
Next part will be a big one, I'm assuming if it's the battle I'm thinking of, is the biggest reason why I love Naruto. You're nearing the end to the War Arc, no spoilers though. Glad for you two to finally meet Kurama. Now you can make a drink to honor the Naruto series. I'm think either Chidori, Rasengan, the Sharingan, Rinnegan, Susano'o or Kurama.
The Susano'o you've seen before in red, green and purple. Itachi had a Susano'o but his was red, Shisui had a Susano'o and his was green, and Sasuke has a Susano'o and his is purple. The Susano'o is only available to Uchihas once one awakens their Mangekyo Sharingan.
I'm glad Beth completely forgot who Tobi was, as that's the whole point, no one knows who Tobi or the Masked Man is, but we had our suspicions. Can't wait for the reveal.
17:56 Choosing the Legendary option will make this the hardest fight in the entire game, and possibly the hardest in the Storm games, easily. Fighting them all at the same time means you have six enemy CPUs constantly spam attacking you, while you can ever only truly do damage to one of them at a time. It took me an inmense amount of tries to beat this fight, and I've seen people doing let's plays of this game rage at it multiple times. After it, everything else feels like a cakewalk.
Damn, that's bad ass taking all six on in legendary 😯
Nah, all Storm games have been piece of cake at max difficulty after the 2nd. Except for the Kabuto DLC in the 3rd. It got to a point where you could even drop the controller, miss every QTE and you wouldn't even lose the fight. You'd just get less points because the devs got too lazy to make an alternative cutscene where you lost the exchange like in previous games.
@@kaijingarou6526 it's been a long time but the 3rd game is definetely the hardest, no? I don't remember anything in all the other games that's harder than the jinchuuriki fight and the kabuto fight.
@@pedromoura575 It's been a long time for me too but I used to play a lot many years ago and I don't think so. Except for that DLC, it was very easy, although future title were even easier. The hardest for me at least was the 2nd. That Sasuke vs Itachi fight has a QTE where you have to break your finger to win xD.
I personally give it to the naruto vs tailed beast fights still just cause it was so tedious and long though still I do remember that kabuto fight both of them are very hard to S rank let alone just even get past it lmao
quick fact, in the anime he actually kinda killed the kage during that first fight

Once you finish Storm, I really reccomend you watch the Madara vs Aizen Death Battle, it's awesome
Honestly watching your guys weekly naruto journey has easily become one of my favourite things to watch ❤😊 (as a long time fan of the original manga and anime and also as a long-time fan of the naruto storm series games too)
Tsunade became my favorite female character with this fight . She solidified why she was the strongest woman in the world and the strongest Kage
Strongest woman of her time yes, but when the f*ck was she the strongest Kage ? Ay and Ōnoki are more powerful than her.
Ay's full power was stated to be Tailed-Beast level and he survived many battles against Minato. And Madara straight up considered Ōnoki as the most dangerous of the 5 Kage.

Her physical strength yes, but that's all he said. Madara was also comparing her to Ay's V1 Lightning Armor, not V2 when he is fully charged up with spiky hairs. Overall, while I would put Ay and Tsunade in the same tier, Ay takes it.
@@alexandrenamor8463 it was stated numerous times that Tsunade was the strongest Kage . Each Hokage was ALWAYS the strongest Kage during their respective eras
Well…… it’s good you got to see Tsunade in action. The unfortunate thing is, what happened in this game didn’t happen in the anime/manga.
The Hokages got curb-stomped HARD. Tsunade even more so when she got bisected by a goddamn tree.
And while I’m all for happy moments, I think they should have kept that in the game for the intensity of the situation. But this game came out before the war ended, so they had to take creative liberties.
And now we get to go see the budding relationship between Naruto and Kurama. Something that leads to even more awesome stuff in the future.
So Storm 3's ending is a bit different than Storm 4's (Which continues the great ninja war) Even tho it didn't end like this, the last battle was really hyped!!! Same goes for how they animated the 5 kage fight here. That final punch was so sick, I always cheer Naruto on. I really wish they would've incorporated more elements from the game into the anime/manga & vice versa.
I think you should check out the Madara fight in the anime, just to see how different things are. Madara has such a dominating aura, really a great antagonist.
Because it's a kids game the hero's win but in the Manga something else happens 😅 thanks for sharing as always 👍

While the limelight shining on the five kage was great, unfortunately Madera triumphs over them in the actual story
And while that finale between naruto and the false madara was cool, thst was just to finish the game. At that point. The battle actually only gets harder for naruto and he doesn’t shatter that mask so easily
It's unfortunate that they're not reacting to the new ults and team ults for Connections
Not only Naruto got Kurama's full power, but he also got a ton of his own chakra boost, because he used his chakra all this time to surpress Kurama. This is epic!

14:13 I also like this fight with the Jinchuriki and Tobi. AND THE FACT THAT YOU ACTUALLY FIGHT THE TAILED BEASTS THEMSELVES!!!
So remind me again why they're watching this instead of playing the games or watching the show?
Either watch 673 episodes of an anime or play through 4 games that are 11 hours on average to beat each. It's too big of a time commitment. Besides, it's kind of interesting seeing someone experience a story in an unorthodox way but still get really into it.
Since I played all the Storm games, I suggested they watch the video game cutscenes. I should have suggested a better video as they found this one theirselves. After they finish the video game journey, I've also suggested they watch The Last movie. After which, if they choose they'll start OG Naruto. As someone that played the games first then watched the anime, it's a different experience and you get to see where everyone started. The games left out A LOT, but I'm glad I did it this way.
@justinarzola4584 welp I'm tuning off then, it's such a rushed way of experiencing peak. Imo they're missing out on more fleshed out moments. The filler list reduces this anime by quite a lot too, they could have used that.

It's very rushed, but it's a game and it is what it is.
The bad thing is that the next game has less 3d animación like they use parts from the anime
The Naruto vs Tobi Battle in Storm 3 is my favorite Final Fight and General Fight in the Entire Franchise.
