@@tkdguide that’s what my instructor here in Australia calls it, and it’s stuck for me. I love how quick it is and how fast you close the gap to your opponent
I’m glad you are looking forward to it. It will be specifically designed for Olympic Taekwondo sparring but a lot of the material can cross over into those other arts.
Hi sir , thank you so much for making those helpful videos . Could you please answer me on that; I want to know if a book split is necessary to ahieve a higher roundhouse kick and a side kick, I have the front split in both legs and the middle split but I'm still struggling in kicking that hight . I'm extremely motivated becauseI corrected my kicks using your tips , and my hips don't hurt anymore, thanks
I’m glad you found some of the videos useful! Flexibility always helps but I have seen a lot of people who can do a relatively high roundhouse kick without being able to do a split.
@@tkdguide Your doing something called Independent Motion, Joe Lewis taught this for years. Basically, your kick (or punch) starts and your body follow. It allows you to remove leading centers and your strike is half way their prior to them being able to defend.
I absolutely love the gliding side kick
I like that name more than “fast kick”. I haven’t heard that name before.
